Quick and easy
I just needed to call to make an appointment for some repairs to be done and it wasn't difficult but the earliest appointment they could offer me was not for a few more weeks and I will probably need the repairs to be done before then.
Building manager or negligent dosser?
This 1 star review is a generous analysis of Jon Clarke of the building management team. I first met Jon in July of 2024 when we were discussing issues of serious health concerns to the building residents, so bad they had taken the life of a residents dog, security issues, and sound transference issues within the entire building. It has taken me 9 months for Jon to even begin adressing these issues and what little progress he had made was reversed within a couple months of more negligence. Jon has failed to deliver on his duty's over, has caused serious communication issues that have set progress back on serious problems effecting all the residents health and quality of life. He has caused me alot of stress having to do his job for him over the past year and a half. Jon has been evasive and reluctant to communicate with me over the course of this process and forced members of abris fantastic customer service team to also have to clean up Jon Clarke's mess. Today I saw Jon Clarke face to face in the building and he was reluctant to talk about these issues and was very rude because he couldn't provide me with answers or even an apology. He kept telling me to keep my dog under control as a way to avoid talking about the issues I wanted to talk about and got angry very quickly, my dog was sat quietly and sensibly by his feet waiting to be given some attention through all of this. Jon Clarke has previously been into my home and met my very gentle and submissive border collie and even cuddled him so he knows my dog is the most well trained in this area, maybe in the whole town. At least that would be the case if he were doing his checks on all the buildings in the area right? To summarise, I feel this individual does not deserve the position he has been placed in and would better suit a role with less responsibility and somewhere he can learn a little compassion. He has failed the residents of this building, effecting thier quality of life and putting them all in danger. I personally have endured more than enough because of his failings and I've got feeling others have too. The couple things I will say in his defence is that abris systems of communication between departments are very poor and the path Abri takes to get things done is always the longest most awkward, I've had my fair share of these problems too.

All the maintenance people with ABRI that I have dealt with have been great. They come in do the job clean up any mess. The way things should be done.
Ongoing repairs
Having continuous trouble with both front doors, was advised both would be replaced, contractor comes says only measuring for one, after numerous phone calls inspection arranged they don't turn up twice, last week carpenter and his mate show up replace screws, one door no different second door even worse have to slam shut, they seem to have cancelled the one replacement door, they've only been my new landlord since October, very poor service so far

Issues with communal bin store, report to Abri homes who have done nothing since it was reported 4 months ago. Rats are now coming and going.
I’ve lived in my house for 5 years and…
I’ve lived in my house for 5 years and only a couple of repairs required and they’ve been carried out within good time and by lovely employees. Our annual gas safety check is always carried out in good time and with friendly guys and recently some electrical work needed doing and Rich was lovely, helpful and friendly and this really helped with the anxiety I suffer at having people in my house.
