The service from this company was excellent. The gentleman was so polite and professional while he was outside sorting the problem. He cleaned all the disgusting mess that had come up out from the blocked drain and disinfected my drive . I would highly recommend this company. Thank you very much.

We have had an awful experience with metro rod. Expensive call out charges leaving issues unresolved, contractor technically incompetent - gaslighted and ghosted us. We ended up refunding guests in our property £2,000 and inconveniencing them by asking them for access to property continually for metro rod not to turn up. Local office made endless promises of returning calls, resolving issues, making appointments which didn't happen. This has wrecked my mental health over the festive season. They don't even carry the requisite equipment. Avoid avoid avoid.

I had a blocked bath and drain which was pretty serious and what compounded the problem was that I could not find a drain with a metal cover in my back garden. The first engineer couldn't find it either and did nothing for an hour but I called Metrorod soon after and they arranged for an expert to come and take a look for free the next morning. He sounded like he knew exactly what he was talking about so I arranged for him to come down the next day. He told me that he had to stick a camera down the tube and hole behind the toilet as he couldn't detach the toilet basin for fear of breaking the screws so he removed the bendy plastic pipe to get to the drain. It looked touch and go at first and I thought he wasn't going to do it especially after he put the camera down and showed me on the screen what the problem was. It was completely blocked mainly with paper and the job looked impossible. I booked him for 2 hours but he did not give up! I thought that he would take more than 2 hours and I would have to pay him more. BUT he got it all done within the timeframe. He used a water vacuum machine to suck the excess water out first and then the paper. He then put special drill bit down to cut through the paper. By the time he finished, the drain was absolutely clear! He even put the toilet back together and fixed the flushing mechanism so that it still worked even though part of it was broken! I have never been so impressed with a workman in my house and he even cleaned up after himself! I would thoroughly recommend Metrorod to anybody but ask for MARK!

I live in a small housing association block of flats. A faulty pipe means that a manhole a few feet away from the property becomes regularly blocked and full of raw sewage (about once a year). Metro Rod turned up, ran out of water and failed to fix the problem, promising to return later or next morning. When they failed to arrive I was told that they would not be returning but instead had submitted an estimate of required works to the housing association, obviously happy to leave the residents as they were. Later that day Exjet turned up and completed the job as they have done before.

Thanks Richard Reading depot ? Pleasant chappy at 10pm SL4 area to unclog my outdoor sewage manhole. Not only efficient very knowledgeable was done in no time at all - noted not very pleasant job but Richard makes light work of it all with a smile - thank you Richard ! I hope there is an in-house scheme that rewards / acknowledges the high flyers !

Communication was good both from the office and the plumber. Mike C from the Bristol area was great. Before he began he had to carry all his equipment up 4 flights of stairs. He listened carefully when I told him what was happening. He then fixed the problem, explained what had caused it and left the bathroom clean and tidy. Happy customer.

We had a blocked drain emergency and were really pleased with the fantastic service we received! From the first telephone call we had with Stacey to the plumber Chris who attended and carried out the work. Both went out of their way to help with their very professional but friendly approach. Really happy with the results and would definitely recommend!

Made an appointment. Waited an hour and a half, they did not show up. Did not bother emailing me to cancel appointment.
