Ben smith and Dan came to my place of work to investigate drains, couldnt find blockage so have advised company to have further investigation using smoke detectors. Thorough job done and explained all with perfect communication. These two guys were very pleasant and would highly recommend either of the two. Miss Tracy Caithness

Rip-Off policy from company

Guy who turned up to do camera test was very nice, but jobsworth. Paid for 2 hours to do camera test, done in less than 1 hour and found minor blockage (seal loose in drain). Asked him to remove seal but would not as this was not on his job sheet only booked for camera survey for 2 hours, and removing the seal would be another job!!! Completed survey and sat in his van for one hour killing time for his next appointment? JOBWORTH policy form MetroRod to rip-off customers

Totally Unacceptable

Appalling service. The person who attended my blocked soil pipe mistakenly released the valve on the pipe itself resulting in the raw sewage bursting forth all over himself and the entire contents of my garage. He had already said that he knew not to touch it due to pressure inside but then did so anyway. No warning, no attempt to sheet up to minimise any damage. Caused a lot of damage to personal items and more than 4 hours to clear up. Metro Rod have denied any wrong doing.

Great Scot!

Just had an engineer from Metro Plumb (Scot) come to sort out a leak. Scot was polite, quick and very knowlegdable. He sorted out the problem by replacing the damaged connecter very quickly. Only 4 stars as the back office were very difficult to get hold and slow to sort.

Engineer Ben Raw came to sort out our drain yesterday. He was punctual, professional and very informative. He explained the procedure and didn't do any unnecessary work. We are very impressed with his service and would highly recommend.

Rung 6:30pm to welsh water with blocked…

Rung 6:30pm to welsh water with blocked drain. Had several phonecalls from Metrorod updating me on timescale of the engineers arrival. Came earlier then expected cleared problem within 15 min was very quick and professional. Come 9:30 pm problem fixed. Very speedy highly recommend

Complete waste of my time.

Friday 15th - 13:00 - we’ll be there in 4 hours… never turned up. job re-scheduled for 9:30am Monday Monday 18th: 09:30 - we’ll be there lunchtime… never turned up Monday 18th: 15:00 - arrived! Couldn’t fix the problem with the plunger (and your insurance doesn’t cover it – surprise surprise). Need to come back tomorrow. £90 per hour. Job scheduled between 12 and 5 Tuesday 19th: 15:00 - be more like 5 Tuesday 19th: 17:00 - be more like 6 Tuesday 19th: 18:00 - we’re honestly just about to leave… I cancelled the job. Will be interesting to see if they even read this or just put the standard 'contact compliance'' response and 'no' I won't be wasting more of my time doing that! Have you noticed that every 1 star review is followed by a 5 star review - that's not suspicious at all is it. Things they should do: Narrower, more honest, estimates of when an engineer is likely to arrive Immediate update if that changes for any reason Proactive management of the customer’s expectation – don’t let US have to phone YOU! Consistent efforts to exceed those expectations
