I’ve ordered several times and was very satisfied each time. Delivery is always fast and items always wrapped to arrive safely.

Great selection of Brit “food” - and great prices but understandably shipping is a bit high, however the goods are fresh. Arrived as expected. Will probably make this a large annual order to make the shipping make sense.

Zero reaction/communication from the customer service. I placed an order on 13 December to be delivered to France (4-7 days delivery time) but didn't receive any update since 19 December. I sent 3 emails which were never replied to. I finally received my Christmas order today (14 days later) but only to discover that it was incomplete (an important item is missing) and that the tea pack was crushed on the side making it look very poor while intended as a gift (still, the breakable pots were perfectly wrapped and protected). I sent a complaint and a refund request because this situation is not acceptable to me. This was my first experience with British essentials and my last. I will never order from them again.

It was seemless and precise. Not a problem at all, even paying the taxes online was simply executed. AND IT WAS EARLY! GREAT STUFF!!!

Didn’t say anywhere when Christmas items needed to be ordered by. I hear nothing from them for a week and then when I cancel my order, it is suddenly too late because they are just about to send it. I will never order from these again. I can expect my items in January when they are completely useless to me. Completely terrible service.

Wanted to place an order for Christmas to the USA for my sister in law but the ordering page was very complicated , so I emailed them for help , it took 4 days for them to answer but alas instead of answering my query they got the name completely wrong and did not answer my question correctly . Unfortunately I asked them to call me , but that request was refused . i had no alternative to order else where . Would I recommend British Essentials absolutely not
