Everything arrived without damage, including the crisps. Everything was fresh of good quality, and I have been enjoying my British food.

Shipping time is always good and the product ordered is of usual good quality. That is why I chose British Essentials. However latest order placed was to take advantage of the Black Friday specials, entering the requisite code on checkout for price reduction. The site would not accept the code. I then tried another code I had been given in September by Customer Service as a courtesy for an earlier order mixup. Neither codes would work, stating I couldn't use them as I was already receiving a discount. That discount was for ordering a multiple quantity of the product, rather than just one or two. That discount is offered every day based on quantity, rather than part of any special promotion. Very disappointing that neither code was considered valid just because I was ordering in multiple of the same item!

Never received the goods, and the customer service's answer is simply 'not our problem'. Given the high delivery costs, it amounts to a scam. Avoid
