I had a problem with my charge card (hacked) and your company and the seller worked with me. Allot of emails and it really helped me during a crappy time. The constant support was great. WILL shop with you again. Nice to know there are people that care.

Expensive returns

You can definitely find some unique items here and I have had good experiences buying some art but after the most recent experience I had with a return, I don't think I'll buy off 1st Dibs again. I purchased a piece of art for a relatively inexpensive $120. 1st Dibs advertised it as eligible for return which I initiated because it didn't work with my space. For a poster board cylindrical tube, they are charging me $69 to return it. I only paid $120 for the piece so basically, I can return it and get back less than 50% what I paid for it. They insist the return go through their shipping for quality and insurance. I could have returned this on my own for $20. I feel ripped off. If you buy something from them, just beware that you may be paying a huge amount if you need to return. As far as I can tell, this had nothing to do with the seller and was based on 1st Dibs' policy.

My recent purchase turned out to be quite disappointing. The lamp I purchased through 1 st dibs developed a fault less than a year after the glass inexplicably broke as we were serving dinner. This incident has led me to believe that there may be a flaw in the design. When I brought this to the seller's attention, they "generously" offered to replace the glass all that at my expense plus the shipping costs, which I find unacceptable for a brand new item. Instead, I proposed purchasing a different lamp and requested the seller to replace the glass at no additional cost. When I suggested this, they offered a mere $150 discount on the second lamp, which I found to be quite insulting. As a result, I have set the lamp aside and am considering disposing of it. 1st dubs did not try to intervene with the seller. I am very disappointed int heir service you would think that the quality of the customer service is more elevated

Nobody buy from here. They are scammer. I paid a bracelet and without inform me I sent her to ask and they told me that it’s not available for a long and they will refund me so after 2 days I don’t know they took without know it the same amount again. I went to bank as they said also that they refunded me but they didn’t. They are scammer.

The sellers were amazing, especially with their communication; and the piece itself is beyone stunning! I'm so happy that I bought this, and intend to shop again and again from this seller. The item arrived on time, well packaged and more beautiful in person than the pictures could do justice. 100% a positive experience with this seller. Highly recommend.

Found a rare item in pristine condition. Seller had five stars and was worth every star. I got a certificate of authentication along with my purchase. A seller on another site tried to convince me such a thing is rare for antiques. Don't settle.

Sellers don't respond to questions

Sellers don't respond to questions. It's not clear whether they receive them or not, or just don't bother. When I contacted customer services about it, you get a different person dealing with each follow up, so you end up having to repeat the same question. A bit frustrating. Many worthy items for sale, but prices are steep.

Important notice: I wish to alert potential partners about the dubious practices of this company. I clearly expressed my desire to terminate a contract initially without charges for a duration of one year. Unfortunately, the company ignored my request and renewed the contract without my consent, adding fees to it. Despite providing evidence of my account closure request, I received threats from the support team to force me to pay these fees. These practices are concerning and in line with other customer reviews, appear to reflect fraudulent behavior. I strongly advise against considering a partnership with this company. - Je souhaite alerter les potentiels partenaires sur les pratiques douteuses de cette entreprise. J'ai clairement exprimé mon souhait de résilier un contrat initialement sans frais pour une durée d'un an. Malheureusement, l'entreprise a ignoré ma demande et a renouvelé le contrat sans mon consentement, en y ajoutant des frais. Malgré la fourniture de preuves de ma demande de fermeture de compte, j'ai reçu des menaces du support pour me forcer à payer ces frais. Ces pratiques sont préoccupantes et en accord avec d'autres avis clients, semblent refléter des comportements frauduleux. Je déconseille vivement d'envisager un partenariat avec cette entreprise.

I wish I could give them 0 stars This company is a scam. They have gotten prices wrong on artwork, have never sold a single painting, so we sent various emails trying to remove our listings. Instead, they tried to bill us -- for $99 a month--
