I purchased a pair of Hermes Loafers and they were just as I hoped for.

I applied twice to become a seller on 1stdibs. the first time I had no response for over 2 months, then submitted a request again. This was a few weeks ago and again no response. If an account isn't approved, that's fine, but I'd love to get a response and a reason why. Then I can adjust a few things if necessary.

First dibs is my absolute favourite site and I simply love everything about it.

This was my 4th time purchasing items-jewelry and art- on 1stDibs from 4 different Sellers. The Sellers have all been excellent and their respective merchandise exactly as represented. Could not ask for better shopping experiences with the added convenience of shopping from home.

Seller was very cooperative and gave me a very good deal. A deal I could not find anywhere else. Payment was easy and safe. Shipping was far faster than I expected. Item was very well packaged. I am very happy with the whole transaction. Thank you

Do not rely on 1st dibs buyer protection policy. a chandelier arrived from Maurice Chandelier in Atlanta. They sent what was pictured but also sent a chain and canopy (not pictured and not mentioned in the description). Apparently the seller thought we should reconfigure the fixture in order to hang it. the seller has a no return policy and 1st dibs did not stand by their buyer protection policy. the fixture was not what was described and pictured (i.e. no attachments shown) and supposedly this is grounds for 1st dibs to take back the item. so the fixture which arrived in april still lies on our floor, not hung. After submitting the above, 1st dibs responded and asked for the order #. i provided it and got a reply back that they would review and respond within 48 hours. don't depend on that either. it is now more than 2 weeks later and still waiting. that was their M. O. all along. nice people but their objective is to stall until you just give up and go away. i expect they excel at that. so my advice, avoid dealing with this company. for a high-end company they fail to live up to their supposed reputation.

I've been looking for a 17th-century-style coffee table for many years. This is a beautiful Italian Baroque-style coffee table. It's exactly the right size for my needs. It's made from reclaimed wood, but it's not a distressed finish. It has a very useful drawer. The carving of the legs and stretcher are exquisite. The Seller offers the table in custom finishes for no additional charge. You just have to wait for the next shipment. I did have to wait 10 months, but I'm glad I did as I much prefer the walnut stain I chose over the example I saw. However, the shellac finish is delicate and I need to be very careful. I scratched the table when I slid my phone across the table. Apparently, there was something under the phone which caused the scratch. The Seller offered to fix the scratch gratis while I had lunch if I brought the table back. That's outstanding customer service! Steve and Jacopo were a pleasure to deal with. I got a great discount too!

Ho comprato dal sito ( meglio credevo) l’ordine parte, aspetto dei giorni, l’ordine confermato ma non spedito. Scrivo al venditore niente, scrivo al sito, gentili, controllano, ma non ti informano. Aspetti giorni li ricontatto, scrivono si il mio acquisto non c’è più. Mi faranno sapere cosa è successo. Nel fra tempo ancora risulta che ho acquistato l’oggetto, soldi bloccati. Riscrivo sempre gentilmente verificano. Scrivo che vorrei scrivere la recensione ( negativa ovviamente) scrivono appena sbloccano la non acquisto, lo potrò fare. Il mio acquisto viene tolto e così il diritto di scrivere la recensione scompare. Sembra solo buon comment sono ammessi

Fake and overpriced. I found a cast iron vintage door stopper dog there for over 500 eur, described as a 19th century item, etc. And when I asked the seller if they had any proof of the age of the item, they just said that it had a "lot of wear"! It's a typical stuff made in 1980s and can be found anywhere for 30-50 eur. However it costs over 10 times more on 1stdibs, without any proof of authenticity...
