Wood chipper works well, chips are small. Easy to start up and easily rolled into place. Compact and robust.

Latest purchase from Forest-Master was a Log Lifter - they had a one-day special at a nice discount so ordered early afternoon and it was acknowledged, packed and shipped within an hour and I received it early the next morning (I'm over 300 miles away). Like all their kit it's solid, useful and excellent value for money. This along with the log splitter and saw-horse I bought previously have transformed the management of the large trees around the edge of our garden.

Helpful advice on the phone first and decided to order. Received the next day. Took a bit of time to put together, especially the cage which I then took off as I found it restricting. Used it properly yesterday for the first time and it performed brilliantly. What a great piece of kit and I would recommend it to anyone with a lot of splitting to do.

Delivery and assembly instructions for my FM6DD wood chipper were both excellent, and its performance dealing with a large backlog of garden and tree trimmings has also been most impressive. I like its small size and manoeuvrability. May I offer the following suggestions to improve it even further? The engine is fairly quiet but the chipping noise makes ear defenders absolutely essential, and this needs to be stated much more strongly - or indeed they should be supplied with each order. A very large black bolt and two very thin long bolts were supplied but not itemised so what are they for? A socket spanner is supplied for the plug but nothing for turning the drum or unfastening the loading or discharge shutes, which are needed more frequently. Could these not be fastened with wing nuts? I have designed a simple removable wooden shaft which fits underneath the loading shute and enables the machine to be pulled round the garden with one hand. Without this, it takes both hands and walking backwards to move it although the machine itself is not heavy and the wheels are good. This would be a useful and cheap improvement, and I could send you a photo if interested. In all other respects - top marks!

Excellent machine, strongly built. Works extremely well, technical support if you need it. What's not to like?

Excellent service from Forest Master, fast ordering and delivery of petrol chipper/shredder, FM6DD. Delivered in 2 large boxes by DHL, packed well, and decent instructions to build together. Only niggle is getting oil into it, its a we bit awkward. Started first time, and is VERY efficient. Forget the average electric type, this petrol one is amazing, best I have used. I give Forest Master 5 stars for this amazing machine.
