Over the past few years I've been splitting collected loggs / felled trees for my log burner by hand axe and wedge, and it was hard work and took for ever. This time with the best part of a tree to split I bought a FM10D-TC (takes the same lenghs of logs as my stove), and its a pleasure, simple and no effort once you have the log on the splitter, even deals efortlessly with tough branch stubs. splitting logs is while not quite fun, it's a simple job to do in passing not one to phyc your self up to start. Two observations, assembaly was quick and easy but you needed both a 13mm spanner and a long 5mm alan key, had both, but having to find both was an ittatation. Also the registation card is the post in type, surely in 2020 when the ordering process and the reviews is all online the registartion process could also be online. Also as one of the other reviews states having a small stool to sit on is helpfull, saves kneeling down to use the machine. Summary, effortless log spliting, a good buy, and great service from Forest Master.

Hi, I recently purchased the FM10D-7-TC from Forest Master. The ordering process was smooth, the emails and updates were quick to arrive and informed me of where we were in the ordering process. The product arrived quite quickly and was put to work after attachment of a handle. A weighty piece that then handled hard and knotty soft wood with ease. Two point operation is safe operation. In summary, a solid piece of equipment that will resign my axing days to history and save my back!

Excellent. Smart log splitter arrived one day after order, and worked brilliantly.

Before ordering the splitter I was worried about the restriction on the size of the logs given the safety cage, but found it to be okay for most of my logs. Any larger ones would be difficult to man handle in any case. You don't have to fit the cage, but I would recommend doing so. Assembly was quite straight forward, although the user guide(s) do need updating in places. When fitting the safety cage you do not need to fit the plastic handle situated at the end away from the motor. Omitted in the guide. Assembly of the legs is really a two man job, but I did mange it on my own. Lifting it upright to attach the legs is the challenge, so do this with the splitter still in the box positioned on it's side with the bottom end raised. Turn upright with the large wheel still off while carefully avoiding damage to the axles. I used the safety cage cardboard packaging and placed it on the floor to support this action. Fit the large wheels when upright. It is worth having the extended legs, as it saves bending down. The product does what it advertises.

Ordered the FM4DDE wood chipper and it arrived the next day fantastic service. The wood chipper is exactly what was discribed, very easy to put together and has no problem chipping up branches very pleased with product and service. I would highly recommend forest Master

My FM4DDE arrived a few days after ordering. Delivery driver was helpful. Assembly easy with instruction book. Soon chipping branches. Just what I wanted and takes up little space to store. Excellent for the job

Gave 5 stars because the FM10D log splitter was delivered very quickly and the product looks robustly built and although I have as yet only used it on a couple of logs, it does its' job very well. I am happy I took the duoblade as this improves the splitting potential a lot. However I would knock off half a star for delivery as the driver was pretty useless. He was unable to lift out of the van, had no trolley or other means of transport, so just dropped it out of the van and dragged it on to the beginning of the drive.

super-fast delivery excellent piece of kit well built, My only bug bear would be the wheels if your not on a hard standing this is a heavy piece of equipment to move in and out of a shed and across a lawn, Ideally you could offer an off road type stand with just big wheels

Website easy to buy from although links to videos didn't work on explorer or chrome. In the end I bought the 6.5 hp chipper despite insufficient videos. Chipper was delivered very quickly. Assembly was easy except I feel half a litre of oil wouldn't break the bank. I also had to contact the technical helpline as there was a 2nd set of wires that needed connection and this wasn't explained in the manual.
