Remortgage delivered great customer service. I was currently looking for a remortgage and removal of an ex partner from my mortgage. I came across Chartwell Funding, my first contact was with a gentleman Sean McCann who found me a deal that best suited me with my current status. Then I was moved over and looked after by Harry Shearwood, the process originally took a while, again because of my circumstances and an unfortunate event of my legal team that ceased trading. But this is where Harry went above and beyond and found me new solicitors and also got me an extension on my mortgage offer. Harry was there for me for any email or phone call or help that I required. Harry helped to push my legal team on and to get the deal sorted before the deadline, which was to the wire. Also a mention to Kate Robertshaw who was also at hand to help me. All the team members I dealt with as mentioned are a credit to Chartwell and never gave up with helping me succeed. Matthew Jarrett and his team helped us to secure a bridging loan to buy a house that we really wanted, before we had sold our own. He also put us in touch with an excellent solicitor. Although the process was a lot more complicated than we first envisaged, Matt was always there to answer any questions we had and to move the process along for us. He is extremely knowledgeable, professional and responsive. Maya was also very supportive. Would not hesitate to recommend.

From start to finish our experience with Chartwell has been faultless. There aren’t enough stars to recommend Chartwell funding as much I would like to. When my wife left me, just before lockdown, I was broken beyond hope. But Chartwell, in particular my broker Matt, managed to help me chart a course whereby I kept my home and got back on my feet in the short term (via a 12 month bridging loan to pay off my wife immediately) and then on to a longer term solution, navigating rising interest rates and shifting sands that could have easily tripped me up without the expert help I received. At all times my fall back position (selling my house, on my terms) was substantially beneficial both financially and mentally, as I first finished the half completed refurbishment of the former marital home and then went on to establish the property as a successful holiday let business. I couldn’t have done it (or even seen a way to do it) without Chartwell’s help. If you find yourself in a similar position to me, literally praying for a way through, give them a call. It turns out my guardian angel was working out of an office in Bristol, perhaps yours does to?

Do not wast your time with them, as I think they are too lazy to do their work. After chasing me for a credit report, one of them name Christopher call and ask me a questions and said oh don’t worry I will try to sort you out, 20mint later he sent a message to said oh sorry we can’t help you as there’s no lender for you. REALLY? Is my situation that bad? Am applying with my brother and he has a 13month satisfied of £480 and he has a pre-settled status. So chartwellfunding said it’s the end of the world as none lender will accept that. Then I called the office to link me up with another adviser as Christopher need to learn more, all they said to me is oh sorry we can’t help you. Please don’t waste your precious time with chartwell as they are not specialists as they claim. I found alot of specialist broker with different lenders that are ready to accept us..

Dan and Carrie were excellent throughout the process, using their knowledge of the market to get us the best deal possible. Even with credit issues Dan managed to get us accepted by a high street lender, explaining all the key points and ensuring we knew exactly what was suitable for our circumstances. Just a really professional and helpful company, could not recommend them enough!
