The product delivery is exceptional

The product delivery is exceptional. Rarely ( if ever ) fails and performs consistently. may be a little more than some of the competitors, but the differences are noticeable, and worth it. Have noticed of late that service tickets are taking longer to be actioned, maybe understandable given the current circumstances, but for an industry that operates in live real time that needs to be addressed. Whilst obviously radio.co's main drive seems to be heavily focussed on new client aquisition, ... maybe focus just as much on the existing ones. Regardless of that small issue - dollar for dollar the best platform on the market.

The best for internet stations by far....

I have used radio.co twice now for 2 different station projects. I have looked at other products in the market which maybe cheaper but don't offer the same service, quality interface and features that radio.co does. So I came back with 'Hive Radio UK' in June 2020 and picked up just were I left off. In no time at all, it was great to be back using the same easy to use interface and get my station on air in no time. The only think I would like to see is a slight increase in the storage on each of the plans now, but keeping the costs the same. 10GB is a little frugal and restrictive, when you need to add in music, features, pre-recorded shows and jingles but yet can't afford the increase to the next plan at this stage when building listenership. Even 5GB extra would help on the bronze plan when starting out.

I only signed up 2 weeks ago

I only signed up 2 weeks ago, but so far so good. There has been teething problems, but i hav e been able to get help via message or email. Yes sometimes i have had to wait a bit but , i think its due to the covid virus. I would recommend

Excellent facilities for my station. **DETAILED** Two year review & experience

I wanted to spend some time writing a good review for Radio.co as they have been a tremendous help for us. We signed up to Radio.co in May 2018 after trying several of their competitors and various other solutions (including trying to run my own Shoutcast server to save money, which was a big mistake - total nightmare!) Firstly, the platform is easy to use. I had my first set of media uploaded within a couple of minutes and the station came to life instantly. Yes, you do need to spend a bit of time understanding the platform and building playlists, tagging music, to fully get the most from it, like most radio software - there is a learning curve. They do have a lot of videos which talk you through most aspects of the platform. One of my favourite parts is the fact you can voice track from the browser - it means I can shout out & update my listeners on the move which is always good. I since have grown my station to over 4,000 daily listeners. I have rolled out Android, iOS and Alexa apps. My station also has a team of presenters and DJs who help out with specialist shows. They broadcast at a time slot that I give them - they can’t connect at any other time and the transition between live and pre-recorded / automation is seamless. I must say hats off to the sales + support team - Phil, Chick, Lawrence, James, Lester, Josh and Dave as they have always been very willing to help, friendly & knowledgeable when I’ve needed answers quickly.

Platform is decent until it's not - service severely lacking

I started out being a huge cheerleader for this company/platform as I've been an internet radio operator for many years. The platform, at first, seemed to solve most of the problems that we've had over the years with Shoutcast, Radionomy, etc. Then some of the short-comings started to surface... The platform has some issues that don't seem to be of much concern to the company. When you report issues, after waiting for someone to finally respond, you normally get answers that somehow imply that the issue is with the customer, not the platform. The absolute biggest issue is the support. They only work during "normal UK business hours". Even if we were in the UK, this would not be "okay". If you are going to operate a SaaS platform like this, that clearly is a mission-critical platform for businesses that use it to operate an actual radio station, then how can you not provide 24/7 support when technical issues arise?? Honestly, since the launch of their (next) venture - podcasts - it seems like they've put all their energy in that venture and don't seem to care as much about the radio side. If things don't improve soon, we'll be looking to move to one of their competitors that offer better support/service and also one that has an actual development roadmap to improve/add features.

Great service great sound I would highly recommend radio.co to many radio broadcasters or dj that’s lookin to get in the radio broadcasting industry or if you just like playing music this would b a great Avenue direction to go in

so far so good nearly ...

Just had the green light for our i.o.s app everything seems to be working fine, except no album artwork is displayed on app just our logo in now playing and recently played section instead of the track info. Also just realised we need to purchase extra android app service to have both platforms available to our listeners, this would be much better if it was offered as a single service Cheers Mark

I'm loving Radio.Co I come from DJing & in this times I had to find a new way to get out to my followers. Radio.Co has opened my mind up to unlimited possibilities. I'm currently learning the software which is awesome and i'm getting a few things in order so i can go public soon.
