Radio.co was recommended by a friend…

Radio.co was recommended by a friend who works in broadcasting a couple of years ago. What a fantastic recommendation it was! I run a digital agency and one of our clients wanted to utilise live radio on their website and on location. In summary: a solid platform for broadcasting our clients station and it has been easy to use most of the time. A good resource with videos and ideas and friendly support as previously I didn’t know anything about online radio.

Let down when our listeners needed us most

About the time when our listeners needed their radio station more than ever the problems started. Yes the minute internet radio should come into it's own, a time when our new station's little audience could have grown; a lockdown, our stream started falling out. Not a little! constantly! It is now the end of October and this has been going on since the the Covid-19 crisis began. I have checked in with them countless times - yes I did the switch on and off again they suggested, it didn't work. I was very patient too, I figured it is a difficult time for everyone and perhaps they were under-staffed etc but it has been months. I have read through their responses to complaints on trust pilot and their promises to pass it on to the technical team, apologies, occasionally push-backs against complaints. They do reply once or twice but then when nothing is resolved they disappear and never come back to you, no follow up, nothing! I am currently listening to the Eagles played through radio.co via our relay. At least 3 times since I have been writing this the track has been interrupted by Pharrell Williams by Radio.co's back up playlist because the relay is dropping out. CONSTANTLY every day, every track, every hour FOR MONTHS! I was a big fan of radio.co it is a simple solution to start an internet radio station but it doesn't work now and they don't appear able to make it work. Their marketing and blogs are superb, I would be convinced to buy into radio.co but all their efforts/budget should be now placed on fixing what they have got not capturing new unsuspecting clients. I am not one for leaving bad reviews, I'm more if you haven't got anything nice to say... but as I suspect with the others on here, I have reached that level of desperation as radio.co ruins a station I worked hard to set up. My hope is that when radio.co respond to this they only do it to confirm that the problems I have experienced are COMPLETELY resolved so that anyone reading this and deciding whether to buy or not can be confident that it will be okay. Without that confirmation I suggest any would be purchaser reading this - goes elsewhere.

these guys are definitely worth looking…

these guys are definitely worth looking at. everything is made easy so that you can get on with running your station. Love radio.co and its so easy to design and set up your mobile apps and the dashboard is so valuable. we consider our radio station a station for the 21st century and radio.co are a company that works well for us. we have always received great service and their website is very useful, great work radio.co thanks for being part of our journey, I highly recommend

Radio brings my community together

People in my area are finding it difficult to stay connected, but Facebook only gets you so far. That’s why we’re doing activities to help keep everyone together. Online radio was another piece to the puzzle. We have plenty of people wanting to do their own shows, lots of music, and we’re not short on ideas. Radio.co came out of nowhere, but showed me the ropes to how this whole online radio thing works. Without the support team I don’t know what I would have done!!! I’m glad I stuck with it though, as now I’m on air and bringing my community closer together. THANKS RADIO.CO!!!!!

My station hasn’t been playing all day know sound is coming out but it’s saying I have listeners I been texting tech support urgent and no response. This is not good business someone needs to make up my money that I have lost all day

Joshua at Radio.co is a wonderful soul. He converses with you, he doesn't just supply a link and set you some homework, ha. He guides you and supplies the context you crave when asking a question in the first place. Their chat bubble option on the site is the way to go for me.
