My name is Caroline I'm recently retired at 66, and decided at the beginning of 2023, to seek my last adventure around the world trip! I did my research in 2017, when I did the same only taking in the Asian route before arriving in the Pacific. So for my retirement, I went bavk to Travel Nation once again! A kind ,understanding young gentleman called ADAM SMITH, introduced himself over the net to me! What a STAR, he has been, not only kind, considerate a d yitally undemanding of this OAP's requirements, on this busy world trip, he also, took the time to xhanfe flights mid 2 month vacation to EXTEND, my vacation, as I was having a great time, n did not want to return to COLD, WET, UK! He pulled the stops out, changed flights, even changed islands in Hawaii and extended hotel stays,just so that I could spend an extra week in Australia n another week in Hawaii. The trip involved not only international flights but internal flights too, somewhat complicated for an oap, but Adam made sure he emailed even rang me in Australia, to check all was OK with me and the new plans that lay ahead of me. I think as a travel agent, answering calls n texts n emails, early our of the morning due to time lapses, went well above board on being employed by Travel Nations. I also know at times when I felt quite overwhelmed with flights etc, he was always there to show me the way. I would have no worries in recommending Adam Smith as THE TOUR OPERATOR AGENT IF THE YEAR! The stressful part of any holiday is definitely the planning! At least it was in my case. After several days (and many headaches!) trying to plan a three-month solo trip around the Pacific, I ended up stressed, confused and quite overwhelmed by the number of options available, and the amount of insane planning required. That's when I came across Travel Nation's website and decided to give it a go. Planning the trip: How Travel Nation helped me I immediately got a call back and had a nice long chat with my friendly travel advisor Chris to discuss my plans (eg. budget, destinations, accommodation types, things I wanted to do/see, etc.). Chris was absolutely fantastic: he devised a rough plan of what the trip would look like in relation to my budget and there was quite a bit of back-and-forth between us until we reached a version of the trip that I was 100% happy with. Chris was super responsive to my feedback and even came up with some brilliant suggestions which I hadn't initially considered. Chris always responded to my queries promptly and with plenty of patience and understanding (I tend to be quite fussy and indecisive, so I really must praise his fantastic professionalism here!). The money bit (which most people find scary!) Once we had the final 'draft', all I had to do was send money in installments (there was also a small deposit to pay which is normal, considering the amount of planning the trip required). Online payment was super easy and I obtained an email receipt for any money sent. The trip was also protected by the ATOL scheme - I'm pointing this out as I know the prospect of sending big amounts of money to an online-based business can be a bit intimidating and scary. But there was nothing to worry about with Travel Nation, they are 100% reliable and trustworthy. During the trip Ahead of my departure, I received all the information I needed via a super handy app called TravelKey which works offline (in case you don't have any wifi) and contains all the details of your journey (flights, accommodation, car rental info, etc.). Chris and the team also remained in contact with me throughout the trip and responded to all the queries I had very promptly, and despite the time differences. I didn't have any major issues with my trip, but it was reassuring to know that I had someone to speak to if ever anything went wrong. Olly at Travel Nation put together a great itinerary for Vietnam. Flight and hotels were sorted within 48 hours and both hotels and the meet and greet and guide services provided by their local partners were excellent. Everything went like clockwork. Would definitely use them again.

We just wanted to drop you a note to say a massive thank you for organising our trip. It really was the trip of a lifetime and everything went without a hitch. The whole schedule was pretty much perfect from beginning to end and the hotels/motels you selected were fantastic with the highlights being Rendezvous at The Rocks, the Pullman in Rotorua, and the Novotel in Queenstown. In addition to this the Lakes Edge holiday park in Lake Tekapo was absolutely stunning in terms of position and the surroundings. The old railway carriage in Te Anau also gets an honourable mention in despatches.

We would like to say a very big thank you to David Taylor, who went way and beyond in organising our 21 day trip to the North & South areas of Sri Lanka. We gave him a very hard task as we do not like sitting by the pool or beach, but he did not let us down. We went on safaris, trains, cookery class with a local family, cycle ride through a local village, tea plantations, spice garden plus the usual tourist attractions.
