I had an absolutely terrible experience with RG Law. I was recommended this company by a friend who used them 5 years ago and had a completely different experience than me. I would not recommend this company to anyone. I have complained to them directly at least 4 times about long delays and the misinformation. When we were buying a house, they took so long that we missed the mortgage offer after 9 months. We ended up calling the banks ourselves multiple times because the RG Law staff handling the case said the wait on the phone was too long, or were not familiar with our case and were not able to put pressure on the bank. The staff kept changing- 3 different solicitors handled our case and I understood that staff quit at short notice with no handover. Still, I don't think a lot of the staff were actually conveyancers and their email signature had no job title. One of the solicitors handling our case was so inexperienced that couldn't tell me if it’s a legally binding contract when we were about to exchange contracts. I also asked them to clarify a clause regarding the split of repairs in my building and two out of three conveyancers who handled our case told me something different. The clause was not tricky, or difficult. I didn't want any more delays so I pushed through and asked the head of conveyancing about this while we were completing. She said she'd get back to me but never did. At the end, we went to two external solicitors who explained that what RG Law conveyancers had said was wrong. Some of the staff handling the case were rude and unhelpful. When I asked to be assigned to a senior conveyancer, the staff ignored my request and told me to ask it myself. It took weeks and weeks to get a response from them while this was costing us time, money and worry. I wish they hadn't taken my case if they had no capacity to handle it. The delays were the worst part. If they responded, they would respond with one vague sentence, once a week. It felt as if the designated time to respond to us was limited to 5 minutes a week. They blamed everything on the backlog of the stamp duty holiday, the bank or external factors. Funny enough it took them more than 1 week to send a fax to the bank. They were expensive compared to others and totally inefficient. When we were about to complete after 10 months, they noticed they hadn't done the money laundering check, which is the first step on the list. It's absolutely shambles. I really regret giving them the job and it was a stressful and traumatising experience for me and my partner.

RG Law dealt with the conveyancing on the sale of our property. From the very start of the process right through to the end the communication from Aljosa and, in particular, Rheanne was excellent. Rheanne was always available to talk to us and made sure that all queries were dealt with swiftly and that everything was in place on time to make the process as smooth as it could be. I would definitely recommend and will be using them again.
