With in 5 minutes of registering on line I received a call back about purchasing my property. Whilst I was informed that my property was perhaps not suitable for them to buy, I was given some sound advice and guidance. The caller was very polite and in no way pushy, if you are thinking of selling your home then from my experience I would recommend calling them first.

Very upfront and honest

Looking to potentially up-size to a new build apartment, I was looking to make a quick sale on my current one bedroom apartment, and entered my details on a few websites with the most pleasant of all companies being Good Move. I liaised with Richard who explained how the company worked and gave me a fair value for my apartment. The main thing that got to me was that there were no pressure selling techniques whatsoever. I spoke to Richard first time on the Thursday and received no other communication until a quick text message the following Wednesday asking how I was getting along. All the other comparison sites I requested a quote from rang me once and then were bombarding me with phone calls and emails. I even blocked numbers and they'd ring me again from another. So good move, Good Move! Unfortunately I messaged Richard back saying I wouldn't be going ahead with the sale due to the time length it would have taken to sell. No fault of Good Move at all, just the new build I was going ahead with wouldn't allow me to reserve until contracts of my current property had been exchanged, and I didn't want to risk losing the new property and my old. So I'll be staying with my old property for a while longer. Richard was completely understanding and again, didn't pressure me. I wish I could have written a review about the overall exchange but unfortunately didn't make it to that. But thank you for an easy, no pressure quote. Despite another of my quotes offering me £5,000 more, I'd have still stuck with Good Move.

I spoke to Max who gave a thorough view of options available and provided contacts should I choose an alternative. Far from the manipulative hard sell we see in the press, this was a wholly positive and very helpful call, supporting our evaluation of options. Extremely impressed with what is obviously company policy and with the high level people skills of Max.

I have given 4 stars and not 5 because unfortunately the initial offer was retracted after the 2 impartial estate agents valuations, but an opportunity of finding an investor was then the approach taken and this was done very quickly with Georgia professionally steering the transaction via buyer, solicitors and seller to a satisfactory outcome. You have to be realistic that this route gets you a sale quickly and is obviously less than the real value you could get if you were willing to market the property and give time and patience for a sale involving bids, chains, viewings, time wasters, buyers pulling out and all various costs involved from solicitors, estate agents etc. If you have a figure that you think is acceptable for this quick turnaround of a sale and this is achieved then this is good and worth a try. If I wanted to sell quickly again without the hassle of a long drawn out process of viewings, chains and various bartering offers then I would be happy to choose this route with Georgia doing her bit on behalf of Good Move.

Excellent... Great and Fast service ! Goodmove did exactly what was discussed and get us a buyer within 3weeks at the agreed price. It was quick and easy to deal everyone particularly with Richard who was my first contact and Yasmin later on. Unfortunately my ex-partner had decided not to process with the sale due to a change of circumstances. We had absolutely, no pressure at all time in the process from the beginning to the end and everything was so smooth. Very understanding people…! Thank you so much for everything in this difficult time , we really appreciated your help. If the house was going to the market, Goodmove will definitely our 1st choice.
