We just had a wonderful holiday in Tibet, and our guide, Dickey, was absolutely amazing. Visiting Tibet and seeing its majestic mountains, especially Everest, and its famous Buddhist temples had been a long time family dream. However, one of my main concerns was managing the dietary requirements of both my wife and daughter, who need to eat gluten free for health reasons. Typically, we travel to places where we can have our own kitchen, but this wasn’t an option given our packed itinerary, the lack of service apartments, and potential communication barriers regarding food preparation. Dickey was incredibly helpful in this regard. She personally went into restaurant kitchens to ensure that no gluten containing ingredients were used in our meals. Thanks to her, everything went smoothly, allowing us to fully enjoy our time in Tibet. And yes, the view of Everest from the China side is even more spectacular than from Nepal! Beyond her exceptional attention to detail, Dickey is fluent in five languages, and her English is perfect. She is also deeply passionate about her culture and Buddhism, making our experience even more enriching. If you’re planning a trip with Tibet Vista, be sure to request Dickey as your guide. We had an amazing small group tour (only 2 people!) to Yamdrok lake. Both our tour guide Lhakdon and the driver have been wonderful. Lhakdon was very patient with our many questions and knowledgeable on the history of Tibet. She allowed us to stop whenever we wanted on the way to take photos and she even helped us taking some. She also facilitated conversations with the locals so we could interact with them and learn more about Tibetan people. Overall it’s been a great experience and I highly recommend Lhakdon as a tour guide!

Tibet tour is one of my bucket list and the trip was just awesome. I specially thank to our tibet guide Mr. Penpa ans Mr. Sonam for make the whole journey so amazing. The tour lead by Lhakpa has been a great experience overall. He accommodated our group’s interests and provided a lot of information and insight. It was a great pleasure to travel with him. The driver made our journey very comfortable and safe. It was an amazing time of the year to visit Tibet, since local came to pray and the sky gave us clear views.

Kristin our travel consultant was very prompt with her responses and had helpful answers to all of my questions. She provided good information at all steps through the booking process. Our guide, Sonam Temphel, was warm and friendly, always with a smile and laugh for us. He was a passionate ambassador for Tibet and shared a lot of interesting information about the culture. We would highly recommend him and would love to do another trip with him!

What can I say when a long awaited trip turns out to be beyond perfect and leaves us speechless. Sadly Everest was not available due to a recent earthquake and our hearts went out to those people rather than selfish thoughts of missing the trip. We had a group meeting and decided to go to other places. Amy was excellent at organising and keeping us up to date and then we feel we ‘lucked in’ with our guide Sonam, what a delightful man and a perfect guide, I know the entire group felt this way, a good guide can make or break a trip, a fantastic guide like Sonam … well… fantastic. Can a trip be all good news? OK I didnt like the shape of the coffee cups in the hotel, and honestly, thats it. Book this trip, ask for Sonam (or I guess he is representative of this company as a whole) and go enjoy Tibet with these guys. We had a great group with us, all much younger but it worked perfect, great guys. One thing for sure, we will be back to Tibet with Tibet Vista

This company organised everything quite well. The hotels were comfortable, the guides were very patient and with good Eng. I felt that they really like what they were doing. Together, Lhakpa and Tsering made our trip not just a visit to some of the world's most breathtaking landscapes but a genuine cultural immersion. We left Tibet with not just photographs and souvenirs, but with lasting memories and a profound appreciation for the Tibetan way of life, all thanks to the remarkable efforts of Lhakpa and Tsering. Their genuine care for our well-being was evident and we wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone looking to explore this mystical region, confident that they will provide an experience as enriching and delightful as ours.

What a fantastic trip! At the moment, Westerners can only explore Tibet with a tour guide, and so I would heartily recommend you go with this tour company - everything was very well organised, right from the booking process (thank you Lycoris for all your help & advice) to the tour itself, which covered everything we wanted to see. Our guide Kal Dor was exceptional - friendly & fun while still being professional and well organised, and very informative without ever being boring. We really couldn’t have hoped for a better guide. The driver too, was fantastic - we felt very safe on the twisty, switchback roads over the mountains and high passes. The minibus was clean, comfortable and water & oxygen were supplied.
