I received my Cheque and Cashed it!!!

I had this horrible experience with a rogue landlord who took advantage as I was new in the UK. It was good to see the landlord pay for the failure to protect the deposit obviously with a good intention. With Driscoll Kingston we got compensation for the failure to protect the deposit. The judge awarded twice the deposit as compensation. I can only say thank you Driscoll Kingston! I will recommend any day anytime. On a no win no fee basis for your claims. Thank you once again Driscoll Kingston!! The compensation is quite helpful to the family.

Do not settle until you are happy with the repairs

I was given incorrect legal advice which made my very strong position null and void. Im now in a house that looks worse than before and im right back at square one, begging my landlord to fix thing's that legally should be covered I don't believe you were working in my best interest but instead you just wanted to get paid doing the minimal amount of work.

You are in good hands here

After years of trying to get repairs in my housing association flat, Driscoll Kingston, who contacted me in the first place, got everything moving and happening, and I have now 2 beautifully repaired and redecorated rooms! and £1000 compensation!! Competent, Friendly, Supportive and Compassionate staff who successfully dealt with our Social Housing problem

After struggling to get a response from the Social Housing landlord regarding outstanding repairs and other complaints (during which time I'd separated from my partner and moved out of the house), my ex finally had enough and responded to a cold-caller to start legal proceedings against them. She was put in touch with John and others at Driscoll Kingston who took the time to speak to me as well as my ex regarding the problems. They organised a surveyor who noted every repair that was outstanding and then John got to work on the legal stuff. I found their staff very friendly, compassionate and highly competent, and eventually the landlord was forced to complete all the repairs. John was even able to get a settlement from them, so even though the most important part was sorted and my ex was happy that the work was finally completed, the extra cash compensation was a very welcome bonus as this ordeal was finally put to rest. The standard fees, based on a set price for no-win-no-fee insurance at £666.40 plus a success fee of 33% of the full settlement figure, can work out quite steep depending on how much they are able to secure for you, though, because of our situation and the low initial offer, John very kindly waived the success fee. Even though John was able to negotiate a more generous settlement figure he still honoured his offer to waive the fee which means my ex will receive a significant payout. This process took a long time, even so, I can't think of anything at all during the whole thing that would portray John or their other staff in a bad light. The only thing that's left is to say a heartfelt Thank You to all the staff at Driscoll Kingston who worked on her claim.
