Best experience-professional and compassionate I was very overwhelmed when I was turned away at the airline check in the day of my flight. I’m not sure how many people knows this, but in order to travel to another country, the passport needs to be valid for AT LEAST 6 Months AFTER the date of travel. Mine wasn’t. I tried to make an appointment at the federal building in LA, but there were no appointments available for a week or two. I found Travel Visa Pro online, made an appointment like they suggested and in less than 15 minutes someone contacted me to let me know someone would be waiting for me at their office and they told me they could get me a passport in two days. Anton, the LAX office manager, received me and helped me (with incredibly patience and compassion, as I kept messing up the paperwork due to stress and brain fatigue) fill out the many, many forms. There is a charge for that, but if you want to make sure it is done absolutely perfectly so not to trigger the authorities to slow the processing of the paperwork, I recommend you pay the small fee. After a couple hours of me trying to reserve my ticket for a later day and when I finally managed to have all the forms done right, Anton informed me I would get a call two days after the submission of the paperwork so I can pick up my passport. I was informed two days later than my passport was successfully processed and given the option to have it sent through airplane cargo so I could receive it that very same day, but I did not needed it until two days later. I still appreciated the thought. As soon as FedEx delivered my passport, I was contacted by the company to go pick it up. I learned that the delays are caused by two reasons: the paperwork is not to the satisfaction of the federal agency, or FEDEX has a delay. Those two factors are not controlled by Travel Visa Pro, but they will follow up very carefully and inform you of any issue that arises. I believe mine worked out due to the perfect paperwork filled out and reviewed by Anton before submitting, and the fact that it was FedExed from San Francisco to LA without any weather delays. I’m very grateful for the support throughout this very stressful situation. Thank you Travel Visa Pro!
