Buyer Beware

I ordered a fishing rod, got a shipping number but the rod never shipped. The shipping number stated that USPS was "awaiting item." In other words, Tackle Direct never tendered the package to USPS. It's nearly impossible to get in touch with customer service. I called Tackle Direct, and after several attempts (I had to act as if I were trying to place an order to get to an actual person), I finally got to speak to an employee. The employee assured me the product was in stock and had shipped. But USPS was having issues. 10 days later, I have not seen the package and the tracking has not updated. I contested the charge with my credit card company and Visa credited me the cost. Terrible, dishonest service. I will avoid this company and recommend everyone else do the same.

This was a long but successful process

This was a long process as my original order/return was placed right at the beginning of the COVID shut down. Tackle Direct was hard to get in touch with originally, which unfortunately was to be expected, but once contact was made the return order and exchange got completed fairly quickly.
