They had recorded when our fixed rate was finishing and contacted us early to re-arrange another fixed rate. The rates available were no where as good due to all rates going up but they did a great job.

Good to begin with then went downhill
Initial contact from Sam Eneas was professional & competent knew his subject well and gave me confidence & reassurance. I was taken aback that I had to pay an initial fee of £195 upfront to get the ball rolling. The only broker I have encountered who charged the customer, nearly all others the fees are paid by the lender after completion. My case was passed to James Spalding once a deal in principle had been agreed & he handled matters up to ‘Offer’ this took a week & was very slick & hassle free providing unprompted daily feedback. Sadly after ‘Offer’ it all started to turn to a ball of chalk. Tianna handled the completion initially & did not inspire me with any confidence or competence or experience. The conveyancers ‘Optima Legal’ were also woefully inadequate & no where near the top of their game - 16 times I had to personally phone them & explain that my current lender ‘Pepper Money’ had rebranded from ‘Optimum Credit’. It also took 4/5 faxes & redemption statements for them to understand this! 10 days were lost by their ineptitude & a week of Tianna’s poor performance & grasp if the situation. Handicapped by this was Xmas which should never have been an obstacle had ‘Optima Legal’ & ‘Tianna’ had bucked their ideas up to begin with. I also got fobbed off by ‘Tianna’ I told her my aspiration was ‘Completion’ by Xmas & she told me that it would be l on 4 separate occasions - Newsflash: 28th DECEMBER is not Xmas !!. Her boss Dan Collis who got involved also had a disappointing attitude “Oh well at least completion is before ‘New Year’. The end experience caused me stress unease & upset - all of which should never be the case ! Paid £195 for the privilege
