When Peter from Your Mortgage People first contacted me, I wasn't really sure I wanted to use a broker, but with his professional advise and knowledge, I decided to give it a go, I'm not one for paying fees for something I can do myself, but I can honestly say, it was worth it. I had been thinking about remortgaging for some time as there were several home improvements that were required. I found Your Mortgage People on Facebook, after being stuck in a mortgage that I had tried a few times to get out of and switch with no success I thought I would give this Company a try. I had an excellent experience from start to finish and they managed to get me with a mainstream lender with a reduced interest rate and reduced payments. I initially had contact with Sabbi who was excellent with his advice, very professional and went out of his way to help and ensure everything was correct, I then dealt with Hannah who sorted all of the paperwork out, communication was excellent, everything progressed very quickly. I then finally got passed to Helen in the completions team who chased and chased every few days and kept me informed every step of the way. The only delay was from my previous mortgage provider holding up the final redemption certificate so we could finalise a completion date. Overall I have been very impressed with everyone I have dealt with, I felt very at ease and communication and professionalism was excellent throughout the process.

I had a very good and helpful experience that started with Shannon and ended with Helen who always responded and updated me I have one sour note that the only issue I had was with solicitor that delayed my happy experience and dragged this on even though I accepted the issues with lockdown
