While I got impatient about the time it took to inquire about coverage for tooth extractions, which took one hour, Mariam Claypool was very nice to me and professional. I believe she said two different things at once, like how I will have to enroll in United Health Care when I was already enrolled in it, as SmartMatch Agency is supposed to provide an upgrade to United Health Care, and the fact that she gave me two options of either paying for my premiums, or having Medicaid pay for my premiums when there would be a $0 out of pocket cost. I chose the latter. Somehow my guardian’s address got into my information, but I reassured Mariam Claypool of my address in Detroit, MI and that my mailing address and residence address are the same, not to be confused with the guardian’s address in Flint, MI. I hope my new cards are mailed to my address in Detroit, MI. There is a difference between a guardian and representative payee (conservator). Mariam tried to make the language as simple as possible for me, and to apologize for the time-consuming inconvenience, she asked about the weather in Michigan as opposed to the weather in Texas where she was at. Overall, Mariam did a great job!

Lauren was knowledgeable patient and reliable. She instilled much confidence in my mother and me. We could not have navigated this process without her.
