This is my second order from Lambton & Jackson. Our local fishmonger closed (he used to smoke his own salmon which was delicious) and we were struggling to find an alternative supply. I came across Lambton & Jackson whilst searching online and thought I’d give them a try. Well! What a find! The smoked salmon is absolutely delicious. We tried the Maldon cure and the smokier salmon but preferred the Maldon cure. We also tried the juniper cured salmon which was also fantastic. Had family over from the States and they thought it was outstanding too. I was a little hesitant to review as don’t want to find I can’t order if L & J get too busy (!) but really felt I should say how fantastic it is. Their salmon is sliced so finely but easily separates and has the most exquisite flavour. The delivery service is very well run and extremely quick. There is a delivery charge but only one charge however much you order. The salmon is beautifully packaged at optimum temperature and you can choose what day to receive it. We have also tried the smoked cheeses which are very tasty too. We are so pleased to have discovered L & J and will never again buy the awful tasteless offerings from supermarkets. Well done Lambton & Jackson it’s a 100% from Leigh on Sea. Congratulations and long may it continue!

I gave a party for 20 recently but didn't decide on smoked salmon till very near the day of the party but Lambton and Jackson turned the order round in double quick time and the 2 sides of salmon arrived, beautifully sliced and perfectly packed. It was a bit pricey but I expected that and was happy to pay to get the best. It was very popular on the day. I think you can't go wrong entertaining your guests with a perfect product.....Lambton and Jackson is my go-to place for the best smoked salmon.
