People are very nice and they do their best but for someone who doesn't know the English process to buy the folder organization is a bit too complicated. Too many information from too many different peoples. I would say a better centralization would be better.

Was quite difficult to get a call through, had to chase multiple, multiple times on one simple enquiry. In fact I went and chased the seller's solicitor myself because it was taking so long. Never felt confident in completing things on time.

We used Direction Law as they were recommended by our housing association as being excellent for shared ownership properties. We were told their turn-around time was 28 days - we knew that this was probably an exaggeration, but did not expect to still be waiting to move in four months later. Direction Law sent us many email requests that made little to no sense, then wouldn't respond to questions. They somehow managed to get my husbands name wrong on documents which delayed the process. My husband would try to phone them but they'd rarely answer, and so he was stuck sending emails which very rarely got a response. We were told everything was in hand and given a completion date of this Thursday, organised various deliveries and moving vans, but now it looks like it's not going to happen. Moving house is stressful enough, I don't understand how Direction Law are able to make it doubly stressful when they're supposed to be experts. Definitely would not use them again, and would advise others against using them. For the person from Direction Law who replies to these reviews - the mortgage is in my husbands name so you won't find it in your system by searching mine.
