On Friday April 7th, my solar filter cracked whilst in facing the Sun. Initially I rang to speak with someone about this, but no one was available - this is likely due to the fact that it was Good Friday, and late afternoon. I later left an email explaining the issue, and asking if anything could be done about it. The next day I received a response apologising, and asking for a photo of the damaged solar filter - to which I was happy to provide. Later after enquiring about an update, I was informed that the manufacturer of the solar filter was going to replace the broken one. Within the same day, Rother Valley Optics sent out the replacement Solar filter, which arrived a couple of days later. I couldn't be more happy with this outcome. I have purchased from Rother Valley Optics before, and will most certainly purchase from them again. Thank you so much!

The initial stock check emails were answered almost immediately. After only part of the order was delivered, I was concerened that the remaining item had been lost in transit, a quick call to RVO and was relieved to hear that a second courier had been used. Due to the heavy handed nature of couriers, the telescope was badly out of collimation, after several failed attempts I phoned RVO asking if they could fix it, after a quick 2 hour drive my scope was back in working order. I cannot praise the members of RVO enough.

the scope i purchased was not available for a few months, after registering my interest they kept me fully updated even honouring the old price knowing the new stock would be priced higher, delivery was extremely quick and all was as promised, needed a few extra bits and bobs and although elsewhere was priced slight lower then ROV i still purchased from them due to the excellent experience i had with the big purchase. if you make an enquiry via online contact page you will get answer within 24 hours usually from the excellent Adam. would have no hesitation in recommending this excellent retailer.
