Con merchants Gave me an offer of £21,874 through their online platform which I rejected. Called me to see what I would accept, I said £22,500. They said, they’d send to their senior buyers and come back to me. They came back with £20,900- £974 lower than I previously rejected- no reason to chip away, they hadn’t even seen the car!!

As someone who has never privately sold a car before I was unsure how the process would work. However, it was very easy from start to finish. Karl (Walton) was friendly, professional, efficient and courteous. After we accepted the initial offer online, telephone & email discussions resulted in a fair and final offer, taking into consideration the actual car details. BCB arranged for a very nice South African chap to pick the car on the Wednesday, we nearly had palpitations as he got held up but it all worked well late in the day. Given how the other online buying firms work I am so pleased I chose BCB.Yes, I could probably have got more for my car if I had sold it to a private buyer, but I am sure it would have been so much more time-consuming & fraught.

Excellent service from start to finish. From the outset they took detailed information about the car’s appearance, service history, mot etc. then came back with a firm offer. As long as the info you give them is accurate, then, when handing over the car this is verified, so in my case David came to collect the car, took photos and confirmed log book, service history and any scratches, I then had the money in my account. The whole process from his arrival to collect the car and the original offered money in my account was approx 1hr. I would definitely recommend.
