Honestly the most painstaking process I've ever had to go through refinancing my student loans. Signed up with my parent as a co-signer and the amount of documents they asked for was ridiculous. After a weeks of going back and forth sending them this and that they decided to deny my application although my credit score is in the 700s and my cosigners credit score was in the 800s. They wanted a copy of my side business' profit and loss statements for this year even though 2020 tax season isn't even over yet. Who the hell does their current year's accounting when the previous year's tax documents don't even need to be submitted yet?! Ridiculous. Will never bother with this company again. Lendkey's process was much easier and they approved my loan refinancing application way quicker and with less hassle with pretty much comparable rates. The rate I was initially offered was jacked up from around 3% to 5-7% right after I submitted my application and documents (literally within 1 day), which I think is just ridiculous.
