Easy refinancing process. The customer service was excellent and the folks at Education Loan Finance were quick in responding to questions and reviewing my application. They were clear in what they needed, so minimal back and forth was required. I ended up with a great rate, and will end up saving myself a ton of money. I should have refinanced with Education Loan Finance ages ago.

We came across ELFI on the "Credible" site and chose to apply to refinance a Sallie Mae Student loan which had an outrageously high interest rate. ELFI's terms seemed excellent and we decided to apply. So far, after over a week of back and forth and a ton of paperwork that we had to download, we are still not any closer to a refinance. We have excellent credit and solid verifiable income history, yet the underwriters seem to enjoy giving us the run-around. We have had to supply less paperwork when we refinanced our home than we are being asked to supply in order to refinance a relatively small student loan. Disappointing. Update Feb 17, 2021: An ELFI rep contacted us and quickly and efficiently resolved the issue. Our loan was approved and finalized without further problems at an excellent interest rate.
