not customer friendly attitude

First the positives: the office is in an easily accessible location at the airport, fast car pick-up. BUT the negatives that I have never encountered anywhere else: -the car was wrecked, practically no battery was intact, the door was difficult to open because of this, leaving garbage in the car -it was discovered while driving when the oil light came on: no oil, no windshield washer fluid (less important) -customer service consultation: let's buy the oil, pour it in.....then they will refund it. -we have been waiting for the refund for a month, they haven't sent anything, they just ignored it. Well, that's it, I wouldn't choose them again.

VARNING VARNING VARNING

VARNING!!! VARNING!!! VARNING!!! Det började med att vi fick vänta på upphämtning i två timmar!? När hämtningen äntligen dök upp så var den bilen full och föraren lovade oss en ny transport inom 10 minuter, det tog 30 minuter. Bilen som hämtade oss hade trasiga säkerhetsbälten!? Allt kändes osäkert och oseriöst. Vid hämtning av bilen så tog jag fotografier av skador på bilen precis som jag brukar, tyvärr så missade jag en liten liten repa på en backspegel. Vid återlämnade så var personalen väldigt noga med besiktningen av bilen och dom hittade en liten repa som jag tyvärr inte hade tagit ett foto på. Jag har haft bilen stående i ett parkeringsgarage och vi har tagit en biltur helt utan missöden eller skador. Vi är alltid försiktiga och tar hand väl hand om hyrbilar. Dom debiterade mig 190€ för den skadan!? Se själv på bilden, denna lilla repa fyller man med ett lackstift och en snabb polering, den kostar inte 190€ att laga! Rent bedrägeri för att lura folk på pengar i min mening. Bilen var full av skador och repor överallt. Akta er väldigt noga för det här oseriösa företaget!!! OM ni beslutar er för att hyra bil här så var extremt noga med att ta bilder och filma hela bilen innan ni åker därifrån. Jag har aldrig varit med om att något annat hyrföretag lägger ner en massa tid på att hitta småskador för att kunna debitera extra, dom brukar bara fråga om allt gått bra och om det tillkommit skador. Jag kommer definitivt aldrig att hyra här igen och jag rekommenderar att inte du heller gör det. Det finns många fler företag.

Centauro Athens Intl airport was great

Centauro Athens Intl airport was great, the only thing you must know is to wait for the agent at gate B' they don't look after you in other gates. After I found the agent everything went wonderful, less than 10 minutes ride to the office with the minibus, excellent new car, very clean, very polite service, and the price was unbeatable!!

Avoid Centauro Athens airport

Prebooked a car with Centauro Athens airport. Price very reasonable. Picked up at airport no problem. in the office when trying to collect the car, the agent insisted on us purchasing extra insurance at 27 Euro per day ( total cost 378 for a fortnight). We already have such insurance as an extra on our annual travel policy. Told us the system was down and couldn't process the booking unless we paid for the extra insurance. Bizarre that couldn't process the booking but could process the purchase of extra insurance!!! Told us system may be back in 5 mins, 5 hours or a day. We cancelled and went across the road to alternative provider. Some customers were paying the extra and then others joined us in walking across the road to book with Auto Union. Much better all round, good service and nice clean car.

Good car with no issues but get your own excess insurance

Good car with no issues. Rented from Athens airport. Booked through holiday autos for £55 for 10 days... Super cheap BUT... Expect the hard sell for the excess insurance etc.. hardly surprising at this price... I had excess insurance bought in the UK for around £60 for a year so was happy to ignore all the hard sales from the very pushy bloke... He wouldnt back off despite me refusing many times the 270 euro excess insurance. The car had damage above other than that stated on the contract but they refused to note it on the contract; just told us to take photos... We took photos of EVERYTHING, including interior, the smallest scratches, wheels, range on the odometer etc etc etc... about 20 in all... Had 10 days trouble free motoring, with no damage. Washed the car outside and brushed out inside before returning... returned car clean expecting a battle about 2 hrs early.. agent came round the car to inspect promptly... we showed a number photos when queried about damage not on the contract and these were accepted by him. I got the guy to accept there was no damage he signed back the 110 euro for full to full fuel and the 1100 euro block for damage... I await to check that no unauthorised payments will be taken from my card.. I'm hopeful nothing will be as sign off process seemed pretty genuine.

Do not book them

Do not book them! Company that rips you off. Because I did not take their expensive insurance at Alicante airport, they claim damage (although I have prove with dated pictures of the existing damage) Plus centauro do not pay you back the fuel (again have proves that I returned it full)

Do not go there

Do not go there. Chania airport. First booking was void as we arrived later than expected due to delayed flight- office closed and no provision been made. Made a new booking next day. Very pushy to pay for extra insurance. At drop off they wanted to charge me for scratches on the wheel cover. Luckily I had made a photo to prove that it was preexisting. A small stain on back seat apparently required the charge of a deep clean ( I removed it with some water in seconds). So don't go there. And if you do anyway- TAKE PHOTOS- in- and outside!

Agence excentrée et vol de la caution

Agence excentrée Ils m'ont escroqué de 138 Euros en ne rendant toujours pas la caution prise pour l'essence. Ils ne répondent pas au mail et je suis toujours dans l'attente du remboursement de la caution. Une arnaque bien rodée ! Je déconseille fortement

The worst customer service ever experienced!

We were told we would be picked up from the airport, despite 8 calls to the head office and local office and over an hour waiting in the airport we resorted to getting a taxi. On return the customer service as shocking!! Kept waiting for over 30minutes on a cramped minibus to return to the airport, fellow customers were shouted at by the staff for questioning how much longer the full Minibus would be waiting. Would certainly not recommend to anyone.
