Dishonest company

We had rent a car with Centauro for our trip in Santorini. The ONE AND ONLY reason we had chosen Centauro and not another company was because they stated on their contract that they accepted Debit cards. But when we finally arrived at the pick up station, they refused it, and made us pay over 130 € (which doubled the price of our rental !). This is a very dishonest way of dragging the customer to rent at their place and over bill them. We will NEVER rent again and will make sure to let other customers know that they shouldn't rent anything from this fraudulous company !

When tried to pick up car understood that I forgot driving license at home, only scanned copy in my phone. Lucky I was with friend who had driving license. Personal told me that I can add additional drier (my friend) and drive by myself, only if I buy additional insurance what cost more than car rent. Looks like scam. booking number 797940091

My preferred choice of car hire provider

Have used Centauro in Alicante airport a number of times now and always found them very good. Quick process to collect car, easy drop off. Good quality cars - always asked about added protection, but no hard sell. Sometimes I take it, sometimes I don’t depends on how much they wish to add on. Always my preferred choice of hire car provider, although not always the cheapest but you get what you pay for. 24 hour free cancellation a bonus, gives you options. Would recommend them.

Centauro is great in Crete (Chania Airport)

My experience was with Centauro in Crete (Chania airport) and they were fantastic. Right away at the airport there was a van taking my family to their office nearby. The car was almost brand new and they are not fussy with scratches as long is smaller than a big hole. Prices were fair so I was able to also use the option of paying extra per day in insurance for not even having to leave a deposit except for gasoline. Return experience equally pleasant and efficient.

Centauro une arnaque quand ton vol arrive après 11:00 pm

Dear centauro. We were your customers yesterday with the booking number 760455482 Our flight was delayed and you had our flight number…. When we arrived at the airport nobody for centorau and nobody online … all was closed … 2 adults and two small kids lost at 01:00 am in Athens airport … three other families were in the same case … Without any news we rent another car because we had a booking in argolida … and 3 hours of road to do … So now we ask you to reimburse us our booking … Regards Stephanie and Maxime Meriaux

It’s a pick up service

It’s a pick up service. Left me waiting 30 min in sun with an infant and very rude shuttle driver . They don’t come to pick you up from arrival or meeting point . You have to go walk and cross streets with bags to see the stupid shuttle and very rude behaviour. The funny thing when they drop you at the airport just put you in street and you have to walk to airport with bags . Worst experience ever with Crete branch . Very bad experience and don’t advise anyone to go through this stupid experience especially if you have kids .

There response is to contact them…

There response is to contact them through there customer service which have been the major route of their problem !!!!!!! Absolutely useless!!!!!! Apparently they ignore LinkedIn too !!!! So their ceo isn’t interested in customer service !!! So why use a company that lie ! Ignore their loyal customers appalling, Have made no attempt to contact me to help us ignore bad reviews !

Nice people

Nice people. Meet and great at Athens airport was instant. Transfers were really quick and clean. Reception staff were efficient and didn’t pressure me to buy extra insurance. Car was an upgrade. On the return I had a small scratch (I’d dinked the kerb while parking). They were polite about this and charged me €290. Of course hire companies are going to charge a lot for scratches, which is why I’d taken out excess insurance. Overall, they were great. I can’t blame them for my mistake.

Recogida y entrega del coche rapidísima y buen trato en todo momento. La devolución del dinero retenido por la gasolina se realizó a las pocas horas de devolver el coche. Eso sí, lo cogí con el seguro completo, ya que era todo muy barato. Y el coche genial, lo cogí casi a estrenar.
