Oficina Centauro Aeropuerto de Atenas: Manos
El responsable de la oficina próxima al aeropuerto de Atenas es un maleducado, prepotente y extorsionador. Se llama Manos y no sólo lo digo por el trato que recibí yo, sino por el trato que observé con el que atendía al resto de clientes, especialmente otros dos españoles en los que puede entender toda la reclamación. Inicialmente la persona que me atendió iba a hacerme el cambio de conductor que había pedido sin cargo alguno. Seguidamente pasó otra persona que informó que el cambio debía tener un coste de 70€ Finalmente el responsable de la oficina intervino y dijo que había que hacer un contrato nuevo pagando para ello el importe total del alquiler. Iba con mis hijos y con otras familias, me hicieron desesperar durante 2 horas y al final no tuve más remedio que aceptar la última propuesta que me hizo: Me obligó a contratar un seguro a todo riesgo por 300€ para aceptar cambiar el conductor del contrato. Su actitud fué desafiante y mediante chantaje. Lo que ví en otros clientes fue aún peor, especialmente por la actitud desafiante y sobre todo por la intencionalidad clara de buscar los fallos en la devolución del vehículo para poder justificar cobros extra sin justificación alguna.

not recommended !!! When we landed, we waited about 45 minutes for a representative. In the end, we took a taxi for 15 minutes and it cost €20. We arrived back early in the morning. The place was closed. There was no representative and no one. I had to find a solution and in the end they also charged me €75. If your arrived/departure when office close you can't return car between 23:00-07:00 !!!! take a car at the terminal less p.s. They don't recognize the insurance you made through booking and start -- taking out a credit limit -- taking out 136€ in case if you return a not clean car or not full tank

They accepted payment for renting the car through mastercard Revolut but they did not accept the same card for the insurance of the car at Centauro pick -up the car-lol. Also they did not accept my other solution another debit card visa this time. They wanted credit card only which i do not have in particular. In the end they didn;t even canceld the res and they are extremely rude here in Athens department saying it is none of his business, which it is to cancel my res if he could not or would not wanted to fullfill. Especially the manager in Athens Centauro was unhelpful,rude and even offensive!
Great customer experience
Rented a brand-new car in Malaga Spain but as a result of my inexperience with driving on the twisty maze of roads in the city, I decided to bring the car back after about an hour. Although I paid for the non-refundable insurance, Centauro refunded my payment. They didn't have to do it - legally I was responsible for the total amount of insurance, but they took care of us. Very grateful, cool people & would definitely rent with them again.

Do not accepting VISA credit card because it was Revolut. Prepayment was made, they also refused to cancel the order.
Many positives but one really bad negative
We booked a car through booking.com and it was cheaper than anyone else. There probably is the lesson. We booked and took out the extra insurance with booking.com which would cover any claim on the excess which was clearly shown as up to €1100. On arrival,met by friendly staff, all cars like new. The staff then asked if I had insurance that would cover the standard excess of €1100. I said I did and showed them the paperwork. The lady then said that it was very difficult to claim the money back on this insurance and that you would need a police report covering any damage found etc. she said that the police rarely attend most incidents and definitely wouldn't attend damage found etc. she was quite adamant that my insurance was no good. By this time it was 1130 pm had been travelling all day and I didn't have the energy to go through all the small print on my insurance. The lady then offered me their full insurance for €300 extra which would cover me for everything . I took this up and paid the money as I didn't want to risk it. The next day I checked the insurance that I had already bought and it was rubbish that you needed a police report. All you needed was an invoice from the hire company showing the amount that they were charging on the excess. The final price was more than I had been quoted from the other companies that came with full insurance. I will say that the car was very new, clean and reliable and the staff on return were very pleasant and got us straight to the airport. Just felt that I was misled in regard to the extra insurance.

I booked a car less than 48 hours for Athens airport, through bookings.com,I read the terms agreed the price booked and paid, on checking my booking the night before leaving I opened my voucher only to read I have to pay an extortionate €1100 deposit, this is an absolutely unacceptable amount, on cancelling the booking they now charged me £25 n only refund me £8 in 7 days, This is awefull service, unless you’ve got shed loads of cash to leave as deposit, avoid this lot, and as always no one’s answering the phone n no other contact or message details,available I’m absolutely livid you lot have taken money for nothing, absolutely nothing, typical

This is a scam. I was waiting for someone to pick me up in Athens airport and nobody was there. I tried to call in the office but nobody pick up the phone. I just lost my money without any explanation. Never going to do it again and I will never recommend anybody to use this company. Is a fraud
Nadie al otro lado
Hace 16 días que después de quejarme por una atención al cliente inexistente la empresa me contestó que en el plazo de 12 días me contestarían …seguimos sin noticias. NI CASO de la respuesta automática que pone: "sentimos su mala experiencia póngase en contacto con nosotros" ...nadie contesta. Una lástima que no haya personas al otro lado , pasamos a denunciar con la OCU
