dirty carpet arrived

Had a carpet delivered, got the carpet fitter to come out as soona s he rolled it out he called me to show the oil stuff on the roll which the carpet has been wrapped around, tried phoning it just rung, emailed straight away cam back with can be delivered in a week I said we are moving in and can't afford to get get carpet fitter out again and the movers are putting furniture in the room on Saturday and they said roll it up and have a new one or keep it and have 50 quid that won't even cover the carpet cleaner let alone the carpet fitter again. Really disappointed after using them before but you can only judge a company once something goes wrong lesson learned should have gone to tapi

I have bought many carpets from these…

I have bought many carpets from these before, but today have been really letdown. They have cut my carpet 10 cm too short so it’s unable to be fitted. I have been told that I should not have booked a fit there until I had rolled it out myself and checked they had cut it right. I think this is absolutely appalling that I should roll a five meter carpet out to check they have done their job correctly. Because of this I now have a room which is empty and my whole house is covered with bed, wardrobes etc And they are unable to send me another one and collect this for another week I have had to pay my Fitter for arriving today with no form of compensation towards me so now I am £100 out of pocket And have a bedroom with no furniture for over a week

Absolutely garbage quality, do not buy from this company.

Arrived today, absolutely shocking quality. Teach us to buy online never again and would not recommend this company. Spoke to customer services and they want £40 to return it, haven't got £40 spare so stuck with a carpet that is so inferior and not as advertised. Do not buy from them absolutely garbage quality. Only gave 1 star because I couldn't give 0

Poor customer service

Placed an order for two wood effect linos, both the same for two rooms. Order arrived and one section was labelled correctly, however it was a bright white tile effect lino. This was returned, and my wife phoned to rectify this. a few days later the EXACT SAME incorrect lino was redelivered, the delivery driver was very cagey and difficult to deal with. My wife had to again phone Online carpets customer care, where Ashley told us he would make a note on the system and take care of it. A week went by and nothing, so I emailed customer care and was told they were unaware of any problem until I had contacted them! Eventually on the 3rd delivery attempt, the correct lino was delivered, hopeless.

Part order missing

Ordered carpet and door bars start of week, got the usual message day before delivery to make I am home. 30 mins before the delivery called and emailed to say the door bars were not in stock. Little late really as I booked in a fitter the next day. Now got to drive 45 mins to find some. Surely this should have been said when I made the order. Or a replacement sent out with the order.

Zero customer service

Online carpets has resolved a unsatisfactory situation which is appreciated Zero would be more appropriate What happened Quite a lot 1. Ordered carpet satisfied with price and communication with delivery date and times then falls short in fact customer care non existent. 2. Carpet delivered ok with getting assistance yes we do live in an apartment block 3.checked the carpet with carpet fitter and some idiot had cut it short hence it did not fit the room. 4. Contacted the customer care team who really don’t give a damn about customer care. This was after all a non fault incident in relation to the customer. 5. Point blank refused to do anything apart from feeble apology. It’s cost us to get fitter in and to get it up the stairs. The inconvenience of not having the carpet. When asked if they could at least send DPD with two man delivery : refused. They refused to send it any other way other than with the usual one man driver van. 6.Advice to others do not touch this company with a barge pole we wish we had headed to Tapi carpets were if mistakes do occur that are non fault customers associated it will be corrected with some dignity. I asked for a two men delivery : refused. Asked for compensation: refused it cost us £100 that day. 7. Had to get the carpet fitter back for second time which is my time and money. You think you are getting a good deal but this company are difficult and not customer focused don’t believe all the good reviews they have people in the warehouse that don’t know numbers and can’t read a tape measure major inconvenience.

Worst online experience

Worst online experience. Carpet doesn't match the description and pictures. After they deliver don't answer the phone anymore. I've bought a "luxury " model. Don't want to know how are ordinary models.

Great quality carpets for the cost, fast delivery and willing to go that extra mile to help move said carpet as I was ill when the delivery came.
