Now resolved to my satisfaction I’ve ordered 3 carpets from online carpets previously with no issues at all. This time I needed a carpet for my new baby granddaughters new bedroom. Carpet arrived as promised and thankfully a family friend fits all our carpets for us. We always over order by at least 10 cm as per terms and conditions- the carpet fitter quickly realised that the carpet when cut by online carpets had been cut at an angle meaning it fit at one end of the room but not the other. First of all online carpets tried to blame fitter error but we knew this wasn’t the case as we had helped him lift it up stairs, after several long email exchanges including video evidence of the join the fitter had to make to piece the carpet together we were finally offered £25 “gesture of goodwill” - this was after online carpets reviewed their cctv image of how the carpet was cut in their factory. I’ve rejected this offer and they’ve come back offering £40 which I still don’t think is sufficient considering I ordered plenty of carpet, paid full price and am now left with a joined carpet. I always judge a company on how well they respond if things don’t go well - Online Carpets had an opportunity to really put things right but sadly they have failed miserably. I won’t be ordering again. I really wish we had just asked them to send us a brand new piece of carpet but I couldn’t as our Grandaughter was staying with us the following night.

REGRET !!!! i would avoid this company and use a legitimate company next time, after recieving carpets from them a professional carpet fitter stated that they have a fault called "delamination", so some people may think their carpets are nice but over time if they start to look wrinkly or wavey its down to this issue, which i didnt even know anything about until the carpet fitter told me so i bet rhwre are plenty of people out there wondering why its happening and this should help them hopefully, so i contacted the company they admitted that this is correct and that i would recieve either a replacement (which could be faulty they stated but if thats also faulty they wont do anything about it) or a partial refund depending on what their manufacturer says as other customers could have got the same cut of the faulty carpet and would need further investigation ..... nearly two months later kept repeating the same thing. ive looked on here before and have seen negative reviews posted but after online carpets message those people the reviews dissappear so how many negative reviews have this company had that magically vanish?

The carpets are fantastic HOWEVER the delivery service is useless. I'll tell you why. This is what online carpets say about their delivery service: "In most cases, delivery is to your external front door. Occasionally, due to accessibility constraints, the driver may only be able to deliver your order to the nearest ground floor access point, which may be the kerbside" There was no access issues at my property and the driver could've driven up my drive. What actually happened is one elderly man arrived with the carpet and was delivering to the kerb side. It was a 6x4 carpet. I asked for help to get it up my drive to the house (imagine if it had been raining carpet would've lay outside in rain) I tried to help him but couldn't lift it. He managed (poor soul) to drag it up over his shoulder on his own. Thank you driver. They were just not willing to pay for TWO delivery guys to deliver the carpets. I have another carpet coming which I'm confident will be the same excellent quality but it's even bigger, how the heck do I get it from the roadside to my front door?? The goods are great, the delivery is fast but the actually delivery to your door is another matter. Covid is over, stop being austere with the deliveries to good customers and deliver to their front door!!! There were NO access problems. UPDATE: Just had another carpet delivered which was much larger, it was 7.1metres x 4 metres. weighed 63 kilograms and again only one driver. This time I went to the driver and asked him to reverse up my drive way and take off the carpet right at my house. There is damage to the plastic wrapping, and I have not checked the carpet yet as I have cardiac problems and it's really heavy, when my carpet fitter arrives I will have him check it. The driver was very nice indeed and no way could he have carried a huge carpet with that weight on his own. Time online carpets coughed up the money to have 2 delivery drivers when delivering heavy orders. the second delivery was on the 3rd of October 2024.
Very disappointed avoid
Very disappointed used twice and regreted both!! First time we ordered they sent wrong flooring twice they applogiesed so thought would try again This time waited in all day for delivery didn't come rang and they forgot to update us to say it wasn't coming now have to wait another week for them hopefully to deliver it anyone recommend a company for flooring that will deliver correct goods and on time?

Faulty delamination carpet
3 rolls of carpet all not fit for purpose. Delamination is the issue. Confirmed by online carpets themselves as they stated cctv footage does show signs of delamination. We have a carpet in the hallway and the living room and bedroom all suffering from ripple effect and they look horrendous. Unfortunately I'm unable to upload photos to show how bad they are. After numerous emails they are refusing a refund and saying it's a damp and mould issue at our home. If that was the case then why are the carpets in our other 3 rooms absolutely fine. 100% do not recommend you buy a carpet from this company. We are now pursuing a refund faulty goods act through our card issuer
Faulty carpet been delivered
My first order from here was brilliant. Just had my second order delivered and its awful! Half way through my carpet being laid they noticed the fibres have come out from the middle leaving the bare weave bit exposed. Contacted them via phone and they said I have to wait another 5 days for this one to be collected and a new one delivered, alternatively he contacted customer service to see what the compensation option would be to keep the already half laid faulty carpet and customer service came back with 'nothing, it's a manufacturer fault we won't compensate for it'. Now gotta store the faulty carpet for 5 days and my son has no flooring in his bedroom. Worth buying here only IF you get non faulty items. UPDATE SINCE REVIEW~ Thankfully the new carpet is in perfect condition and looks great fitted in my boys room. Following my review, online carpets investigated my issue and were very helpful rectifying the problem. Jenny from customer services has been very helpful, thank you! I have since recommended these to one of my friends who will be shopping here for their new carpets :)
Reasonable but issues
Update! Online carpets have apologised and sorted something out for inconvinance. The carpets they supply are good. The delivery it’s self is fine just how long it takes and some miscommunication along the way Update!!! I sent an email yesterday to cancel the order and the email has been ignored and they decided to dispatch me he order instead!! Also the comment on the reply about cut of is before 12.00 noon. I get that but if ordered in a Sunday the order should have been processed Monday morning before the cut of 12.00 noon so you just feed your customers what every rubbish you want to customer service is terrible Avoid at all costs. I ordered on Sunday 3-5 working days delivery it’s now the 5th day and not even been dispatched. I have now requested full refund and to cancel the order. My past experience of them was good but obviously the customer service has gone and along as they have your money it doesn’t matter.
