Great service, fast delivery & good quality

Spectacular in every way. The end product is beautiful, practical and seriously comfortable. The build was enormous fun - not easy, but logical and not a single part left over. The delivery was excellent, the delivery chap stacked the boxes in the correct build order and was delightful. The customer support (answering a few stupid questions) was patient and knowledgeable. A really good experience and a product which i am proud to show off to anyone who visits.

Our wardrobe got delivered very quickly after ordering which I was impressed with. The wardrobe itself is very sturdy and at high quality. Absolutely in love. The reason for my stars was that the instructions didn’t come in English, had to find the instruction manual online to be able to build the wardrobe. It took the best part of 7 hours to build, however very impressed with it.

I was very apprehensive of buying from this company, and I was right to be! I spent over £1000 with them and had one of the worst customer service experiences in my life. First of all, it said part of the order was estimated to arrive in April. The date comes and goes, and nothing arrives. I reach out to find out what the delay is, and am told they wait until the entire order is in to dispatch it out to me - This was not mentioned anywhere on their website, in any emails about delivery, etc. and the other items were due in a months time! Why say estimated delivery X if actually, it’s Y? After requesting it be sent ASAP, they sent the first item out for delivery. When I tell you that was the WORST set of instructions I have ever seen… no parts labeled, all screws look the same in the pictures… honestly I know instructions can be poor, but just label the parts at least! I felt like Einstein once we’d managed to decipher those instructions! Lastly, the final 2 items were a month late. Again, returning to the awful customer service, once the date had been and gone I contacted them to find out when it’d arrive and they told me it’s due in at the end of the month - well, if you knew that, why didn’t YOU contact ME to let me know? Am I meant to just wait around every day hoping the delivery shows up? And even at the end of the month, I still didn’t get an update until I chased again the week later! Absolutely abysmal service. I had to request compensation instead of being offered any gestures of goodwill given the experience so far, which they did refund me less than 2% of my order total… All in all, they may be cheaper than elsewhere but it’s for a reason. Next time, I’ll pay the higher prices and go somewhere who delivers orders on time and with instructions someone other than Einstein could understand. The anxiety and emotional distress was not worth the money saved! That being said, I will say (so far) the units I bought are standing strong, despite the missing steps in the instructions.

Easy ordering and delivered in timeframe given. Delivery men were lovely, I paid them to take wardrobe upstairs as couldn't have done it myself, but I do think this should be part and parcel of a delivery in a house especially for bedroom furniture. They opened the mirror door box to check it was all okay which I thought was great. Wardrobe was put together by a professional so I didn't face that part but he advised it was okay, just a couple little bits which didn't match up, but was still able to go together. Really happy with the wardrobe so far and would definitely consider this company for furniture again in the future.

Very easy website to use, placed my order and was pleasantly surprised at how quickly my delivery happened. Delivery team were polite and respectful of me and my property. I would definitely recommend them.

We did A LOT of research before choosing the BC-02 foldaway bed unit from Arthauss. At first I was sceptical because of the cheaper price and some reviews commenting on quality of materials. So to address this first: The material quality and precise engineering of the components is SUPERB. It's important to make a clear distinction between a Spring mechanism and Pneumatic mechanism. The cheaper CP version is Sprung which we didn't want and I would recommend the slightly more expensive BC Pneumatic version hands down. To put this bed together you need time and to be very organised and patient. This is not 'Flat-Pack' simple furniture assembly but if you take it slowly, read and re-read the instructions it should be possible for most people to assemble but it will take a lot longer than the 4 hours suggested. I have plenty of DIY experience but in reality I needed at least one day and a half to get the job done properly. If you don't allow for space and time and try to rush this you will get into a muddle. One thing to know if that each bag of components is numbered according to the instructions 1,2,3,4,5 etc. Do not open bags randomly! We had to search a bit for 3 pieces which we expected to be in a certain bag but they were elsewhere so a bit of a panic but nothing was missing and everything is exactly as required so don't mix bags up! One tiny improvement would be for each panel to have a sticker with the code on it to make identification easier especially if the panel is symmetrical and you can get confused as to the front and back of the panel (I put two panels on the wrong way round). The mattress we bought from Arthauss is also superb and when the whole thing is assembled you'll see that the pneumatic system is perfectly balanced to the weight of the bed. Before the mattress goes on the bed itself will spring back into the unit so be careful! The securing brackets are also superb. After full assembly I did have to slightly adjust the position of these to get the box frame perfectly square to the bed leaving a even gap when the bed is closed. We used it for the first time this weekend and my mum slept like a baby. Communication with Arthaus was perfect. Everything was very clear, delivery was precise and very prompt. A week after ordering we had the bed in place and ready to go. I have been keen to write this review because we could not have made a better purchase and dealt with a better company. Congratulations to Arthaus and DIG-NET who produced the components (I note the soft close pieces are also BLUM so very good there too). If you are looking for a bed like this, get this one and the mattress too from Arthauss. Take your time in construction, be organised and you will be very happy indeed! Thank you.

So impressed with this store and their delivery. From ordering my Wardrobe and speaking to a really helpful advisor who arranged a quick delivery. Then today it arrived and the delivery drivers were very pleasant, clean appearance and polite. They bought it in for me as they could see I’m struggling to walk. All in all a very good experience from start to finish. Won’t be able to put it together for approx a month though due to decorating so hoping there’s no faults when I do open the packaging but feel confident that they will respect this if in the event there is a problem. Looking forward to going in to the store in July when I visit Lincoln and buying some new Lounge furniture.
