As ever, comprehensive range of classical music, well-priced, easy-to-navigate website backed up by excellent background info. Presto remains my first port of call!

I have bought Classical CDs and more recently FLAC downloads from Presto for many years. I was with them when they changed their computer system some years ago and lost continuity of customer records. They have always been an excellent source of music for me. However I had problems with my recent purchase and when trying to access my downloads as their system appeared overloaded as they seem to be over-reaching themselves with unnecessary streaming.

Verdi’s flair for the dramatic, melodic invention & plots that spring surprise are in evidence in this early opera-I Lombardi alla prima crociata. Ramey sings assuredly with an open solid voice. With the customary positivity & fine articulation Pavarotti renders an endearing performance. There is ample scoring for the role of Giselda portrayed by Anderson who is a worthy advocate except in “Selva Maria” where fervor is insufficient. Levine’s tempi for chorus & orchestra produce the desirable dramatic effects. Some choral passages have echos from his previous opera-Nabucco. Yet another fine offering from the Decca stables.

I bought some guitar tab sheet music of classical gas by mason Williams , with postage it was just under£10 it came after three weeks , but unfortunately it is the worse interpretation of of the music I’ve seen , there are a lot of notes missing , I expected a lot better from this company

Purchased and paid for the CD on 17.11.23 but have not yet received the CD?????????????
