Outstanding Ortlieb! I bought a seat-pack to cycle through France for 19 days and it has been amazing. I didn’t want panniers as my bike is a carbon mtb and I didn’t want to attach anything to it. This bag was the perfect solution. It was large enough to hold my toiletries, all my clothing and at times I put my sleeping bag liner and travel towel inside. I was also able to attach things on top for quick access. The bag held its position very well high above my back wheel. It was highly durable and it was the best item I could have bought for cycle touring. Well done Ortlieb- an outstanding design.

Ordered via Ortlieb direct and item did not arrive . I actually had to track item to local dealer and then pay again for delivery . Unacceptable ... from both Ortlieb and DPD their default delivery service. I will use resellers in future .

Vorbei, die Zeit bei Ortlieb in der engagierte Menschen LKW Planen verschweißten und damit ein nachhaltiges Produkt schufen. Nach 6 Jahren mäßigem Gebrauch sind die Schweißnähte der Radtaschen komplett auf gegangen. Der Kundenservice hat völlig arrogant reagiert und ist auf meinen sachlich und freundlich formulierte Beschwerde überhaupt nicht eingegangen. 25 % Rabatt auf ein ähnliches Produkt wurden geboten (20 % bekommt man im Internet auch so überall), und durch die Blume wurde dazu gereicht: „wenn mir das nicht gefällt soll ich doch woanders kaufen“. Damit ist Ortlieb von unserer Einkaufsliste gestrichen!!

I purchased an Ortlieb rucksack 4.5 years ago for cycle commuting (velocity 23L) and use it at least 5 days a week and it has had a tough life! In the last 6 months the velcro has begun to stop working and last week the chest strap buckle cracked (plastic just deteriorating), I was going to take it to a local repair place but thought I would email Ortlieb first. They couldn't have been more helpful, Martin responded instantly and asked me to ship my bag to a UK address, which I did on Monday. By Thursday morning my bag was back with me, they replaced my closing mechanism with a longer buckle (which actually works much better) and replaced the tired shoulder straps with new ones. It has saved a bag that has plenty of life left from going to landfill and all I had to do was pay the postage. Its an excellent product and an excellent service. Thanks Martin and Ortlieb.

Recently bought an Ortlieb trunk bag to go with set of Ortlieb panniers. Horrified to discover that trunk bag fitting is incompatible with Ortlieb panniers on a single rack! Ortlieb advised buying a dual pannier rack at additional cost of circa £ 125! Very disappointed!!! Received a reply after 29 MONTHS!!! Made ZERO sense!!!

Unglaublich! Perfekter Service! Wären doch nur mehr Anbieter so gut! Satteltasche hatte aufgeriebene Stellen nach leichtem Sturz: Optimal und nachhaltig repariert. Unkompliziert, schnell, akzeptabler Preis. Mehr kann man wirklich nicht verlangen.

Nach 4,5 Jahren Nutzung und ca 22.000 km war die Ortlieb Tasche noch immer intakt - mein Gepäckträger jedoch so sehr durchgescheuert, dass es lebensgefährlich hätte enden können. Laut Kundenservice sei das jedoch ein Problem des Gepäckträgerherstellers. Es handelt sich um ein Bulls Fahrrad, das über 1000 € gekostet hat. Schade, dass ich hier kein Foto hochladen kann, es ist wirklich schockierend.

Ich kann Ortlieb - Taschen leider niemandem empfehlen. Sowohl bei meiner Lenkertasche als auch meinen BockRollern lösen sich die Schweißnähte, die Taschen fallen auseinander. Auch bei mir wurde das Angebot gemacht, 25% auf den Neukauf von Taschen zu gewähren. Eine Reparatur wurde abgelehnt, weil angeblich nicht möglich. Sehen so Nachhaltigkeit oder Qualität aus? Ich finde nicht!!

Very poor and dismissive responses from customer service team at Ortlieb. I have used my bag once. It was checked in with my airline covered in a commercial plastic wrap. The bag was purchased primarily for my trips to Kenya where I have a base. When I retrieved my bag at Nairobi Airport it had holes and abrasions so my conclusion is that the bag is simply not durable enough for its intended purpose. I thought Ortlieb produced quality products, but that was not my personal experience. What I disliked most was the rude and dismissive customer service. “The damage to your bag was clearly caused by external influences, such as sharp objects or improper handling”. There were no sharp objects in the bag. It was loaded with my gear, none of which was sharp. I took the extra step of having it wrapped in protective plastic. The bag should have been durable enough to deal with its first journey to be considered worthy of being called an X-Tremer. I’ll not purchase from Ortlieb again after this experience.

Very good quality products, and very gentle. I broke by mistake a piece of a bag and they sent me another for free. Really really kind
