I had a perfect shopping experience!

My daughter found a prom dress that she fell in love with at a neighborhood boutique. Misses dressy had the same dress, same designer (Tarik Ediz) for a couple hundred dollars cheeper than the boutique. I was very nervous about ordering such an expensive dress online but I took the risk because I wanted to save money. The dress came in less than a week. It was exactly what she tried on in the boutique and everything she wanted. Rita answered all of my questions and offered me a free pair of shoes and bra to ease my nervousness. The live chat was very helpful and convenient as the response was immidiate. As soon as I typed my question, I got a response and all of the help that I needed. I am a very satisfied customer, and I am sure my daughter will be incredibly beautiful on her special day. Thank you so much Misses Dressy for EVERYTHING! :-) ...

Unprofessional Service & Sent the Wrong Dress (Update: Situation Remedied)

Be very wary buying a dress from Missesdressy. I found a dress on the Missesdressy website and purchased it, understanding that I could only return it in a 3-day window of receiving it for an exchange or store credit only. Based upon international shipping, I should have received it within a week. TWO weeks go by, and I keep wondering where my dress is. I receive an email stating that because my billing address is different from my shipping address, I need to provide them with an authorization form. No problem, except for the fact that they had waited TWO WEEKS to email me this notification. The website said that I was supposed to receive my dress in a week’s time! I had paid international shipping to ensure that I would receive it on time, but international shipping isn’t much good when they delay two weeks to ship it! I wish that were the least of my problems. I received the dress shortly thereafter, only to find that the dress I received was different from the one pictured on the website. Not a completely different dress altogether, but it had an extra band of sequins that was not featured in picture. The—now four bands—of sequins were much darker than the picture as well, and changed the entire style of the dress. I called them—understanding that typically they don’t do refunds—and requested that they would make an exception this time, since the dress pictured on their website was different from what they received. I sent them in a photo of the dress I received, along with the link to the dress pictured on their website. Regardless, they did not budge. They still offered me a store credit, but if I had known the dress I would have ACTUALLY been receiving, I would have never ordered from them in the first place. I have one year to claim my store credit, but I am extremely skeptical of buying any more from their website. Because here’s the catch: the dress I buy with the store credit is a final sale. No more store credit or exchanges after that. What if I receive a different dress again? My trust with this company is broken. I am disappointed how Missesdressy handled this situation. I was hoping they would be more professional and offer to remedy the situation in a proper way. (Before I sent back my dress, they did offer to throw in a pair of shoes and a bra for the “inconvenience” of my situation. It was a nice gesture, but a pair of shoes and a bra don’t amount up to the $300+ dollars I spent on a wrong dress and shipping.) Unfortunately I would have to not recommend purchasing from Missesdressy. There are much classier establishments out there such as Promgirl.com and Simplydresses.com. They offer refunds and are willing to work with you. Do yourself a favor, avoid the headache, and do not purchase from Missesdressy. UPDATE: A few days after submitting a review to Better Business Bureau, Misses Dressy replied back with a professional apology and immediately refunded my complete expenditure, including the shipping costs. Although it was an overall frustrating experience, I am much more satisfied and appreciative that the representatives at Misses Dressy took the time and effort to remedy the situation. They also removed the picture of the incorrect dress from their website, so that the same mistake won't happen again. My faith has been a little more restored. I hope that they will continue to strive for excellence and the betterment of their company. My best wishes to them.

prom dress savior!

My daughter's dress arrived when they said it would, free shipping and perfect! The dress is of great quality and looks exactly like the picture. We had to order a size bigger due correct size unavailability in the time frame we needed. Overall very satisfied with the dress.

Buyer beware! Does not follow own company policies.

I purchased a designed dress from this company on the 22nd. While searching for a photo of the dress online, I found an authorized retailer who was selling the dress for one cent less. "MissesDressy.com will price-match any dress that you find online at a lower price from an authorized US retailer, and give you 6% credit too! Whether it's cheaper by $10, $1, or even a penny, just contact us and we'll honor our price match guarantee." After initiating contact 3 different times via chat and twice by phone, they decide to not honor their policy and say they cannot do so because the other site shouldn't be selling the dress for less.

Dress is not what you see on the website

Due to their guidelines, I am not allowed to post any pics or links to the pic (pls view my PROFILE PIC to see the dress), but pls DO NOT order from this website. I ordered a completely blue gown and they sent me a blue and light purple gown, which colours are so horribly mixed, it looks NOTHING like the original gown. When I emailed them, they pulled a fast one on me and their reply was "actual picture look different cause of the background and lightening use during the shoot." Somebody should report them to the authorities. If gown was "indeed" what they claim, the picture should have been different shades of blue; the gown looks like it ran out of material and purple was used to cover the parts. they should have the decency to publish reasonable pictures. And they are not replying my request for a refund or at least credits to replace the gown. Absolute cheats.

We are certainly NOT their 1st priority!!!! HORRIBLE

I don't know how to begin to explain our horrible experience with them. They didn't ship the dress until we called twice to confirm (because it didn't come on time and we almost didn't have a dress for the event!) and they lied to us that the dress was already shipped! (They sent us a confirmation email and everything!). And we ended up paying $4 out of our pocket when the dress finally came because they didn't pay enough postage. When we called to complain, they said they would have somebody call us and NOBODY did just like the 2 times they were supposed to! When we called, they said "The manager is busy (She couldn't have been too busy to call us ALL DAY!) but we refunded $$ dollars, Would that be ok?" There is another lie right there! They weren't even going to deal with us! Be aware of the HORRIBLE CUSTOMER CARE. or delivery manner if that matters to you like it really mattered to us.

The worst website that I ever faced

I order the dress 17 january 2015. When I have define what kind of dress I want, I found it in they're site and it was in stock! Of course, I ordered the dress and pay extra 22$ for deluvering in 2 business days. But...after that they emailed me that the dress will be around 26 february and when the will be in warehouse they immediately send it to me. ( of course do not return my extra pay for delivering). But the worst had happened after 26 feb. I wait when they emailed me about dispatching the product, but everyone forgot about me and my dress. one week later I had chat with one of they're stuff and they tell me that they wait updating, and send me a message consicting the background of my order. Suprisely, they did not! Once again I wrote where is my dress, and they told my that 26 feb. tge designers who should send the product delay the order and nobody did not tell me about it. Now the money from my credit card had taken off and the website is not goint to return my money!

Dream Dress Received

Can't be happier with the dress we just received from MissesDressy.com!!! My daughter fell in love with a Blush prom dress that was not available in any store near us. Misses Dressy's website reflected that there was one left with the supplier that could ship to arrive within 10 business days. I'm sorry to say that I was a bit skeptical, since this particular dress seemed to be so unobtainable, but Misses Dressy came through in a big way! We received our authentic Blush by Alexia dress exactly as ordered within the 10 business days (as promised). ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL!!!! I cannot thank MissesDressy.com enough for getting me this gorgeous dress for my daughter to wear to her prom -- I found them to be a reputable company with excellent service! THANKS AGAIN SO VERY MUCH!!!!!

Stay away!

Dress is great! Wish I could say the same for the business. Return policy states they accept returns if shipped within 3 days of receipt with an authorization number. I called on day 2 for an authorization number hoping to exchange my daughter's dress for one size larger. What do you know? Coincidentally, the size she needs is out of stock. Yeah right! On day 4, I checked the website and it was showing the dress to be in stock. I called back to see if they would make an exception and allow me to exchange since the dress was now available. Nope. They strictly only accept exchanges within 3 days even if it is their fault that you weren't able to exchange within their allowed time frame. Furthermore, since my mailing address was different from my billing address, I received a request for address verification via email along with a request for a copy of MY DRIVER'S LICENSE! They said this was for my protection and to prevent identity theft! Did I mention they asked for this info AFTER they had charged my credit card?! At that point, I became very suspicious and asked that they just cancel my order and refund my card. They wouldn't do that because they have a no-refund policy! I had to change my shipping address in order to receive the $600 dress I had already paid for! Never again will I order from Misses Dressy and I will be sure to tell all my friends about their rotten customer service!
