YOU SHOULD STAY AWAY from the massage company.

The massage I recently received from this company was not as nice as it appeared. Despite their professional appearance, they are not. You would imagine that scheduling a soothing massage with them would be one of the best ways to unwind and feel content. You are completely incorrect. Their primary objective is to defraud you of your money for time-wasting services. Let's start at the beginning: they are the friendliest to you (sell) whether you schedule your massage in person, online, or over the phone. They inquire about your preferred massage kind, whether you would want to use aromatherapy, etc. You are asked to fill out a consent form on the day, and then you are allowed to use the restroom before being shown to the room where the massage will take place. Yes, everything you wear will be covered in oil. There won't be a shower room or single-use underwear. You will be questioned about extras once more after you enter the room, even though you would have booked the massage with them if you wanted them (sell again). They give you a minute to undress and lie on the massage bed, and believe me when I say that it's only sixty seconds before they knock on the door to let them in. That's not relaxing. Every time my body was touched, the cold oil they used on me caused discomfort. Personally, I thought the massage was mediocre and unrelaxing. They began with my back legs (head and feet not included, extra charge) and moved on to my lower back, and upper back then arms, hands. Excuse me, I thought it was a full body massage, but then someone asked, "Because of the time, should I do your front of the legs?". That was a hurried massage, not a soothing one. Without a shower room, they use a hot towel to clean your back after the massage and give you a small hot face towel to clean your entire body. They leave the room to give you another sixty seconds to put all of your clothes on your oily skin (don't wear anything nice). That's my question. How should I do it with this little towel? After you let them in, they ask how you're feeling and give you a piece of paper that indicates where the tension was found and how many massages you should schedule in the future. The experience feels like a supermarket. You are practically pressured to sign up for a monthly subscription at reception, even if you don't want to at that moment (sell). I had to decline eight times and leave without feeling any better. Two days after the massage, I started to feel pain on the left side of my neck, which has persisted until now despite my use of painkillers and inflammatory cream. In addition, my right hand was pulled, I believe with excessive force, and I was unable to close it or hold anything since then. I will NEVER, EVER use this company again, and I'm willing to wager that any response I receive from them will be incredibly generic with promises to improve, etc. I still experience pain that I shouldn't, and I'm not at all at ease.

Absolutely avoid this place

Absolutely avoid this place! i had a full body massage in Canning Town over a week ago and the next morning woke up with pain in my hip. I tried calling and emailing but no one bothered to get back to me and I am suffering until now. I am waiting for any sort of acknowledgement and fixing my problem. Total disgrace and no customer service whatsoever.

I had a wonderful massage

I had a wonderful massage recently at the High Wycombe site. Great therapist who listened and understood my needs and what I wanted from the massage that day. He had the perfect balance of checking if I was OK throughout but also leaving me to relax. A great massage and I felt amazing afterwards for days, I will definitely return.

I've been a member for some years now

I've been a member for some years now, inc through Covid. The massages have been consistently good, from many therapists as the team keeps growing. There's a sense that someone really cares about this business and the quality of the service right across the team is always great. My life and health is so much better for the regular massage, the mental health as well as the improvement in my muscles - it allows me to do so much more. Strongly recommended.

Frustrating cancellation experience at Canning Town

Similar to other reviews here, I had a frustrating experience cancelling my membership at he Canning Town branch. I emailed my cancellation request in writing back in June 2024. An employee wrote me back acknowledging my cancellation request and to arrange my last massage as I still had a credit remaining. Fast forward to today, they are still charging my credit card unauthorised membership fees. It's a shame because their massage therapists are good but their business practices are unethical and downright fraudulent.

NHS Massage Experience Issues

I recently visited this massage company for relaxation. I was initially impressed by their offer of a free 10-minute massage for NHS staff and a promotional rate for a 50-minute massage with a free upgrade. Unfortunately, my experience did not go as smoothly as I expected. Firstly, there was an issue with the booking and payment system: I was charged upon booking online but had to call to request a refund, which was eventually processed. My appointment was rescheduled twice with the explanation that "the therapist left." This repeated cancellation was both inconvenient and disappointing. The most troubling part, however, came with the final charge. Despite the offer initially including a free upgrade, I was unexpectedly charged for it. When I questioned this, I was told that the voucher I had purchased didn’t include the upgrade, despite previous communication suggesting otherwise. In summary, while I appreciate the initial NHS-friendly gesture, I recommend that future clients take a photo of their voucher, track any charges carefully, and be prepared for potential rescheduling. Unfortunately, this was not the relaxing experience I had anticipated.
