Poor After Care Service
Kristina is a wealth of knowledge and very helpful when trying to assist to ensure that you receive the correct product/colour even going as far to request photos, this part of the service is spot on! With this level of service before purchase it gave confidence to make a purchase. I purchased the Malibu Blonde 12 inch HD XL and although small niggle with a clip this was soon resolved, I was over the moon with the quality and colour being a natural blonde the colour match was fab. With this in mind i decided again to purchase a 12 inch Malubu Blonde but just in the HD as I wanted to keep the XL for best. The order was placed on the 14th June, however after payment I was emailed to advise out of stock until mid to end of July, however 18 inch was in stock, this cost me a further 22.97 which was made on the 21st June, I desperately wanted to retain my XL. I received the 18inch on Friday 26th which meant that my hair appointment booked for 27th June would ensure both toppers could be cut to blend with my hair and the colour match with both was spot on, unfortunately the 18inch topper reacted with heat so I emailed Kristina on Monday 29th to advise of this, on the 3rd July I had confirmation that Jon Renau had posted me a replacement. After a few days I sent an email asking if topper had been posted out, i was informed that the 12inch was now in stock I was given the choice of which one I required, 12inch was my orginal order so i requested this and also the refund of difference i had paid for the 18inch. On the 16th July it finally turned up! I felt like crying! the roots are a red/brown and not the light brown as described in colour description, there was also a warm tinge to the rest of the topper, to say I was gutted is an understatement! Another email with pictures showing both toppers on a hair stand side by side clearly showing the 12inch with a red tinge, I did receive a response the same day requesting barcode to enable forwarding to Jon Renau, this I did and again requested reimbursement for the difference in price of the 18inch, I was advised that there can be a slight variance in colour but that the variance in mine was significant. I am still waiting to be reimbursed the £22.97. On the 21st July I chased email as by this time I am seriously getting fed up and advised that it was getting to the stage of wanting a refund in full, the topper is still attached to its barcode and in its box, the item is comparable to ordering a size 10 dress and having a 16 turn up, i advised that i would not be able to wear the topper due to significant difference in colour at the root. My response email was that waiting for Jon Renau to contact back. From a customer point of view my contract is with the supplier and not the manufacturer, twice I have requested telephone contact, twice I've requested the refund in topper price. Frustratingly a family member was so impressed with my first topper that they ordered one. As of today at 19.52 on Thursday 23rd July I am still without a solution. I acknowledge that sometimes items can be faulty, I accept that twice I have been unlucky, however what is not acceptable is the lack in resolving this as soon as possible. Fantastic customer service at point of sale such a disappointment that after care isnt. Posting a review is something i have deliberately delayed doing hoping that this would have been resolved immediately.
