1st Wig Order

I placed my order 9.30am on the 10th January, my order was delivered late afternoon on the 11th January, super impressed with website, delivery which my wife was wrapped beautifully in tissue paper, will recommend and definitely buy from Kristina again. Thank you so much. X❤️

Buyer beware - read all reviews

Buyer beware - please have a very good look back through these reviews before you buy. There is a common theme. I had an awful experience and would NOT recommend unless you are 100% sure of your purchase. If that is the case you may have a good experience but otherwise please go elsewhere and pay attention to the returns policy. ( Every other decent wig company I have researched or used offers a fair returns policy which is exactly what you need if like me you you were in panic mode and vunerable when you were buying what is usually a considered purchase when suffering stressful hair shedding ) Not this company - no returns. I didn’t even try it on as it was clearly wrong for me and I did weeks of research before making my choice so I wasn’t using your company as a “try on service”. Far from it. I had been able to return a topper to Josephs wigs previously and had a great easy experience with them and would use them again based on their sensible approach to a difficult purchase to get right. I wrongly made the assumption that all wig companies would understand how difficult a purchase this is and I would also be able to return this topper to you - how wrong. The excuse of hygiene is very poor as I hadn’t even tried it on ! I do agree with a previous reviewer that the responses from Kristina here are condesending and unhelpful. Even if advice is offered and the return policy is documented on the website I do feel it should be made 100% clear that no refunds are available by a tick box stating EXACTLY this before the transaction is processed as the current set up means the buyer probably assumes you operate a fair return policy like other companies do. Like many unhappy customers here who you profit from I would not have bought from you if this was made clear to me. I now have a costly topper that is lying in a box untouched and you have my cash ! Thank you for a horrible expensive experience.

Good variety of brands, styles, colours & products. Problems with service and supply..

Some problems, please read on... The company has an attractive, vigorous up-front presentation style. The sales & clearance offer good reductions and you can see a video of the clearance wigs that you will actually get. The range of brands, styles and colours offered is second to none. Descriptions are full and accurate. Own-brand 'Love and Piece' products are excellent. Well done, KY for creating a super-attractive shop front, which seems very buyer-friendly. My first couple of purchases and I was hooked on KY as my wig buying favourite. Last couple of purchases and I have lost faith. You should know that KY hold very few items in stock. You are likely to have a very long wait for your order to be fulfilled. You won't know this until after you place your order. They give you possible delivery dates that seem OK and offer the chance to cancel if you are not happy to wait. Those dates just whizz by, unfulfilled. You are not provided with updates on progress. You have to chase KY for information. You receive an automated message offering their timed response. That deadline is missed. Some anxious buyers are told that if you keep asking, they won't reply, explaining they are only a small company, so haven't the staff to provide you with regular update information. Now their business has grown, should they employ more Customer Service staff? The second issue is again around Customer Service. If you do not like what you have bought, then you cannot return it for a refund or credit, even if it is very obviously not tried on, perhaps, not removed from the box. The reason given is hygiene, but other wig retail companies do offer returns services, although some charge a small restocking fee. This is not a company to consider if you are at an experimental stage of wig wearing, or if you feel you need a change. My advice would be to initially buy from another company that offers a fair returns service, then, when you know what you like, buy from KY, well before you actually need the wig, if you can stand the silent wait. Their prices are usually good.
