This is a scam company
Scam callers that keep calling back after I've told them to stop calling me about 4 times. I own my own house - and I'm so sick of them calling and asking if I'm a council tenant. I'm reporting this company to the Information Commissioners Office - they shouldn't have my details, and I'm annoyed that they do.

Amazing. I was skeptical at first. However after reassurance they said they would help. They were professional and helpful. They referred my case to a solicitor in London. And it was truly no win no fee. So I paid absolutely nothing. My landlord has to now fix the issues with the excess condensation. And also rats in the crawl space above my flat. Rats which were entering through an external hole in the outside wall, over electrical cables. This was due to the neglect of the building. I also got some compensation for all the hassle I had endured. And from the money and time I had spent on trying to resolve the issues with my flat. All the while my landlord was not doing anything to rectify the problem. All I paid out was half of the compensation I received from my case However, I was not at a loss because it never cost me anything to begin with. It was all handled on my behalf with no stress involved. I am really grateful that something was finally done about the issues I have been experiencing.

I had a roof leak issue not being addressed by my landlord / maintenance company for ages. Housing Disrepair Helpline put me in touch with Barnes Solicitors. Soon after they reached out to the landlord the roof has been fixed. Then they negotiated a very reasonable compensation. It took a quite a while but It was proactively handled by solicitors . It's a no win no fee agreement with a fair commission - I can recommend going on this route if you have a long standing landlord issue.

I contacted the housing Disrepair helpline. My ceiling in my bedroom had a hole, this was caused by a council workman when he was checking the loft. His leg went through it. I waited for 18 months for the council to repair the work. The repair was only competed, after the housing disrepair took on my case. I would highly recommend using them because they do achieve great results.

Awful experience making enquiry over webchat with Senior Claims Adviser. Gave me completely incorrect legal advice then became abusive and mocked me because I challenged him. Thoroughly unprofessional, worst experience of any communication with any company ever. Avoid like the plague. Not sure why they responded to this review so agressively. I was told on the telephone by a manager the agent would be recieve a warning and apologised for the unacceptable way he spoke to me. I also apologised for swearing.
