No response to Request for Files

Having taken over the personal files of the now defunct solicitor practice McClures, I have asked for my parents’ personal files to be returned to me. I initially asked in November and have received no response. This practice took on the task of contacting all clients whose files they took from McClures. They now have a responsibility to manage those files. A request from clients or clients’ POA should result in action. Never a client of Jones Whyte and no wish to be, but Jones Whyte holding onto my parents files.

After the recent passing of my wife I was put in contact with Jones Whyte to help me deal with her estate. I had a meeting to discuss things with them and was very happy with the caring and sympathetic way they assisted me with dealing with the wishes my wife expressed in her will. I would highly recommend Jones Whyte to anyone who like myself was a bit unsure of the legalities and would like to thank them again for their support in this trying time for myself. Gary Caskie
