The fittings as now fitted to the ceiling are excellent so far as appearance and performance are concerned. However, the fixing clips that spring back to hold the fittings in position are terrible. On five of the six lights purchased, the spring clips came adrift from the brackets whilst introducing the assembly into the mounting holes requiring an engineering background to work out how to re-fix them. This is an outrageous design fault that needs a serious rethink.

Been waiting 7 days but no delivery and no communication! Got an email on the day I ordered saying the goods had been sent. No sign of them. Called but never get the call picked up, just rings and rings. Trouble is today we expect everything at Amazon speed. Still waiting!!

Downlights Direct provide an invaluable (and easily understood) guide to selecting the most appropriate low energy downlight. This is the clearest advice that I have received anywhere. Their pricing is also highly competitive. Once selected, the lights, bulbs and dimmer switches were despatched the same day and arrived the next. Fantastic!

Orders fulfilled very promptly. Ordered Sunday, dispatched Monday, delivered Tuesday. Clean and easy to use website. Genuinely useful supporting documentation about LED lighting. Faulty bulb replaced without a quibble.

I ordered some downlighters and LED bulbs (great price btw!) and they arrived within a working day of the order. I have to say we haven't had them installed yet so cant comment on quality but they certainly look pretty decent. Can't fault the service, will definately use Downlights Direct again!

Both times I have ordered lights they have been out of stock and have had to wait for the back order to be shipped but the items do materialise eventually, I may have just been unlucky with my purchases.

I just change lights bulbs in living room as I need to replace old spotlights. I really wanted to have low energy consumption and bright light and with Philips 4W GU10 3000k 220-240V makes happened.
