Be very careful of these slick ‘landlords’- my son got a better Uni placement after his grade results - which just happens to be the week after the cancellation period for the accommodation- now we are stuck with a years rent for somewhere his doesn’t need, as now no cancellation is accepted. Also now they have empty rooms that they have discounted to try and shift - they know how to play unknowing freshers !!

I recently visited for a room tour

I recently visited for a room tour, and I had a fantastic experience. The highlight was the exceptional service provided by a female receptionist who assisted me throughout the process. She not only gave me a thorough tour of the facilities but also took the time to understand my needs, ultimately helping me choose and book the perfect accommodation. I’m very pleased with my choice and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great service and a comfortable stay.

It the hours of induction, as an international I have a late flight which means that I will get in Edinburgh late at night and I will not be able to get to my place within the hours that you have allocated.

Good service but fooling students by their website price

Good service but too expensive. They don't know proper English. They announce on website from £95/w and charge £129/w. Are you stupid? OR are you thinking you are fooling poor student? Just because they come back to you does not mean you charge them as you wish when they are asking something around £95/w. They are students not working individuals. Please use price range and not from £95 to £129. Calculate yourself and see the difference? Fooling poor students

My experience

I found that it usually took about 2-5 days to get the answer from your email since I sent one to you. It would be a little annoyed when I have some urgent problems to ask, especially for students currently outside the UK. However, the staff is kind and patient to introduce everything about the apartment.

The building was great for about the…

The building was great for about the first 4 to 6 months. Somewhere after or towards the end of the 2nd semester hygiene standards dropped significantly. The communal places weren’t being cleaned as often—especially the dining room. There’s also the issue which has persisted since I came to Silkmill: the treadmills. I was really excited about the prospect of an indoor gym but having the most important equipment be the only one which hasn’t worked since I lived here is quite upsetting. There’s always “someone coming to fix it”, but it never ends up happening.

Not bad

The Internet Speed need to be IMPROVED. We need a bigger curtain and a better kitchen hood. All in all, the living experience is good.
