waste of time, I paid for my prescription and had zoom consultation and got an email today for another zoom consultation and the doctor refuse to prescribe for me! unprofessional to reduce my dose without even know what it is about and she was arguing with me unnecessary! refund should be straightaway but was told it takes 7 working days.

Wonderful experience at Weight Medic Clinic (Edgware road). Everybody is welcoming, professional and supportive. They always try their best to arrange my appointments and will contact me if necessary. Doctors are also fantastic, they take their time with you, explain everything and every options. They will not let you down. Super team for sure. It’s been several years now and I will not change it for the world. They help me to stay in shape and healthy.

I’ve recently started my journey with weight medics and I am “extremely happy” with the changes already! For me hunger was such an issue and I would continually snack throughout the day, and now I can happily stick to my main meals. Weight medics have been so supportive and informative, I would highly recommend them.

Having been on ozempic now for 6 weeks, I deliberately didn’t weigh myself until today. Over the moon at the 5kg loss! I’ll be honest and say that my diet and lifestyle in that period hasn’t changed… (so I’m sure it would have been a bigger loss if I’d really pushed it!). Having been on many faddy diets over the years I’m delighted with this one so far and the encouraging emails are a great push! Would highly recommend to anyone!! :)

I had high hopes for this service given the excellent professionalism from the customer service team during booking. Sadly, this wasn’t reflected in the standard of care I received in my appointment with one of the doctors. The medication options I’d enquired about were deemed “not appropriate” for me without explanation, and she instead devoted much of the call to trying to flog me overpriced supplements. Clinical trials clearly show none of these supplements have any impact on weight loss, so why would a medical doctor recommend them? It felt like an immediate grab for cash. Next, she spent time telling me, at length, why Semaglutide was better than Saxenda - claiming it was newer (it’s not), has a lower side effect profile (the opposite was found in all clinical trials) and more effective (again, not remotely true). Perhaps this specialist weight loss doctor was genuinely misinformed on all these points, but it felt more like she was intentionally lying to me to try and make a sale. (I’d clearly indicated on my medical form that I had been unable to tolerate Saxenda) Whatever the cause, I found it concerning. By the end of the call the doctor had shared other great gems of wisdom including: “buy low fat options of things”, “keep busy” and “try eating your dinner (a Hello Fresh meal box) for breakfast”. Also, the disability I’ve had since the age of 16? That could be cured if I just ate more wholegrain toast! I came to Weight Medics because I had already tried everything else and needed some informed, professional and specialist help. What I got was an expensive equivalent of the weight loss tips in a waiting room copy of ‘Take a Break’ magazine.

I have been using this clinic from November and highly recommend. The tablets have 💯 worked for me I have lost almost 2 stone. I am more than delighted.
