Preparing for Our Future
We are at the beginning of declining physical function that at some point will be very troublesome. Getting in and out of our tub with jets was very difficult. We hired an architect to make our shower, tub and back porch ADA compliant and as safe for an older person as possible. We chose American Standard Walk-in Tub with jets, healing LED lights, and shower insert. We have had it for one month. We are pleased with this product - its look, safety features, ease of entering and leaving & ability to immerse only lower legs or full body are positive features. We have no complaints. The installation crew were excellent too.

Excellent job of installing the tub and the work crew were very nice and explained eveything to me
Good installation
Good installation, but several minor problems, such as leaks and a pending pump issue. Repairs of leaks have been resolved by American Standard technician, Javier. Very pleasant and a hard worker.
Most of the process was good
Most of the process was good, we had trouble with the wiring up date. No electric to the furnace. It cost us an additional $200.00. We were told we would be Reimbursement. I submitted a paid invoice and a detailed explanation. That makes my feelings about American Standard rather negative. A company is only as good as the people that represent them.

The installation exceeded my expectations as does the performance of the shower. I gave this 4 stars because my shower disappeared in transit and the installation was delayed about 3 weeks as a result.
Shower itself looks good
Shower itself looks good. But installers need to use an exhaust fan when doing their work to remove existing tub, and to be careful of existing wiring in walls. Found wire cut nearly in half in wall behind the shower head which controlled my kitchen ceiling light and fan. My brother fixed it, Thank you. Also dust is everywhere in the house and drapes and curtains in other rooms now need cleaning. Also found cracks in walls behind the chair in the shower, and in the ceiling in the bathroom where chips flew when removing tile from the existing tub. Installers were polite, its just what I found a few days later, when emptying my linen closet that is in the bathroom to wash all of my linens.

I bought a tub and bidet in November and the bidet is leaking at the bottom. I notified you and was told that it would be after the Thanksgiving before you could get to it to fix it and have heard nothing as of today.
Substandard
I did not get the color I wanted and because they're especially built it was too late to send it back. It was months before I received a call to set up the inspection and you have to wait all day for the inspector on the scheduled date, he never showed or called. I've called American Standard three times already to follow-up and each time I was told someone would get back to me, it's been at least three weeks and my tub that I've had for three months is no longer quick draining but I can't get anyone to call me back.
THE GREEDIEST COMPANY EVER
THE GREEDIEST COMPANY EVER! The customer service reps insult the customers when off the phone with them. They will take your money and insult you behind your back. THE NASTIEST A HOLES EVER. $$$$$$$$ = AMERICAN STANDARD.
