To every single person that wants to buy from this site stay away. Is absolutely shocking the way this site works, I don’t even know how is it even possible and legal to have a business like this. Bought 4 items from them and 3 are faulty, more than £300.00 of goods that they probably found in the scraps yard and are listing on their website. The way the costumer service treats you is awful, and should be banned as a business. STAY WELL AWAY IF YOU DONT WANTJUST TO THROW YOUR MINEY AWAY LIKE I DID.

Brilliant start to finish

I won 2 items in the lot and received only the one item. Not happy and have been waiting for the item which I really wanted. I won't be paying for another delivery, as I paid for both already. This is unacceptable.

I bought a car on 6/11/24 I go 07/11/24 from London to Nottingham by train to pick up car because in advertising in video the shown car perfectly running.i picked car and tex and insurance it .I started it for 15 minutes I checked water and oil.i just started driving i 1mile start burning.I stop the and call the told me we are not responsible for any thing I request them tak it bak and put on action but the refuse .i wait 1 hrs I take to garage the put mor water check the told me the engine is finished I tried again after putting water and started driving after 350 meater heat up And started burning.so I sold it scrape Before scrap I called again if the help me but noting .in one day lost 1500£ Please any don’t believe if the show the video.the told me we drive the car jut for 15 meats.so don’t bay if .i have invoice and also scrap receipts.

Used to love this site , now iths just not worth any more , all the items sometimes top the retail price, that just makes me think that they are bidding against the customers, as they see how much max bid someone places , i used to work for an auction house and i know they are doing some illegal stuff. definitely not worth any more.

Jenna was exceptional. Swift and knowledgable and had all the right answers to my questions. Couldn't have asked for more.

Where to start with these con men. Not everything from them is only fit for the skip, but... Been using John Pye for over a year and today has put the cherry on top. Four drones arrived this morning, all broken and with missing batteries, no use whatsoever and £79 down the drain. My fault.... If you want to use John Pye, do so at your own risk, but don't buy anything involving moving parts, electricity, inflatables, in fact anything that has a chance of being broken, damaged or having parts missing because John Pye will happily scam you. More fool me for buying shonky goods.... Telescopes without lens a John Pye specialty, yep conned into buying one of those... Coffee machines that leak, won't heat water, have bits missing are a John Pye favorite. Yep, my fault again Fridge freezer? John Pye have hundreds of 'em, pity they don't freeze. Bought a composite sink. Length just over a metre. Arrived in a box just 90cm long. JP had packed a sink that was broken into four pieces but had been expertly put together to look undamaged for the photos. Shouldn't have been so stupid to think they would be fit for purpose.... These are just a small sample of what they sold to me damaged. All my fault.... Want scamming by John Pye swapping goods? Not a problem. I bought a mattress from Chesterfield waited an age ( nothing new there) for them to find it. Got it home to find they had switched a £995 one for a £395 one. My mistake of course. At least they had the decency to take it back, but at my cost.... Could go on forever, booze bought for a good price but went to collect and they couldn't find it. Never mind you can have a refund. Eventually.. . End of rant, but having spent well in excess of £15k in just over a year, you would have thought they could have refunded me £79 for four drones that are only fit for the bin. Hell, they could have easily put them back for auction. Instead they fobbed me off with a copy and paste excuse telling me the T&Cs I knew already about.

Customer service is first rate. Goods arrive on time and in good condition. Remember though its an auction and do your homework because the final bill includes commission and carriage. To their credit John Pye make this clear throughout.
