Elise Hunt from the Encore team set up the private EV charger in 5 mins on my app - thanks for your help and speed of action. This of course was a pleasant surprise after trying for several weeks to connect by email / phone to get the job done with others from Encore!

Nothing is being done in the building…

Nothing is being done in the building but we are being charges extreme amount of money. Building looks horrible, safety of the residents is not followed at all by them but they believe they doing everything right. Similar estate in central London service charges are less than 200£. Here outside London is almost 300£ for doing nothing. They feel they basically untouchable and they can rip off people as much as possible. Run away from building managed by them!

This is by far the worst company I have…

This is by far the worst company I have ever dealt with. They have point blank refused to do their job. They will not help with anything they are paid to do. They have never replied to any emails or phone messages. They will not allow you to talk to anyone in charge and they point blank refused to escalate a complaint. They either ignore you, refuse to help you or call you a liar. It has been a disgusting experience and I strongly suggest you do not use this company.

Awful experience …

I’ve been back and forth with this company regarding many issues we’ve had in our block of flats since they’ve taken over. To name a few: lack of security, unsecure car park, no cctv, bins not being collected for weeks, and the lift has been out of service for the last month or so. Oh, and a random man had entered the building with a gun because the building has become so easy to get into. I received little reply from my emails until I sent follow up emails, to which the reply is often ‘we are aware, we’re chasing this up.’ I live on the top floor and have to climb 101 stairs (yes, I have counted) with a 10 month old in hand, several bags, and a heavy pushchair (which I can’t leave downstairs because the building isn’t secure and it will be stolen.) It was promised that the lift was being fixed on the 12th July so I stayed quiet for the week leading up to this. The 12th has come and gone and I’m struggling to leave my flat with ease because I have to hike up and down the stairs carrying so much. I might as well give up my gym membership. Of course the email response why the lift isn’t working was ‘we are aware, we’re working on it.’ I could have fixed this lift sooner with a spoon box of crayons. Awful company. No communication and no real effort to get anything done.

I've had a very positive experience with my Estate Manager Kirsty Leinster, she swiftly replies to queries and does her utmost to remedy any issues quickly. Kirsty offers solutions and actively tries to improve areas of concern, she also communicates effectively with follow up emails & letters to all residents when needed. I have appreciated her support in recent months, thank you Kirsty!

How to manage large buildings effectively

They managed our apartments for over 6 years and could be trusted to find the best prices for work done, ensured all bills were met on time, ensured we were compliant with laws, H & S regulations and rectified any irregularities. They had a tough job because the previous company were inefficient and were not compliant with many aspects of multiple occupancy. In the wake of the sad situation with Grenfell Towers, laws have been tightened but they met each problem and solved it. Thanks you so much. (Shirley ex owner)

AVOID

Encore will avoid resolving problems at all costs. Rude unprofessional staff, 0% help or support when reporting an issue, poor maintenance to all serviced areas, including lifts, parking zones, entrance areas and more. Once I leave hopefully soon a big lesson learnt, AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS IN THE FUTURE.
