Overall the stay was fun and everything was clean. I did pay extra for the birthday package and it's definitely not worth the extra money. The cake was ok and the worst part is I clearly stated how old my daughter was turning and they got it wrong. There are plenty of beds but 1 was as stiff as a board and some of the kitchen utensils were falling apart. Otherwise location is good and the stay itself was a reasonable cost.

There were multiple things wrong with the cabin when we arrived: dishwasher latch was broken and did not work, one of the burners on the stove would not light, cobwebs all over the light fixtures, beer bottles thrown in the yard, sheets were stained and dirty, light in the upstairs shower/toilet area (master) did not work but the thing that broke the camel's back was that there was a huge leak from upstairs to downstairs that had soaked through the mattress in the downstairs bedroom leaving us wet in the middle of the night. When we complained to the rental company, they sent maintenance who just came and changed the sheets claiming there was no issue. After we pushed the topic, they offered to move us to a less expensive property and the "compensation" was a price adjustment- not true compensation for our troubles. When we explained that moving 11 ppl would be too much of an inconvenience they offered a sad $200 discount stating the the issue was only "one bed" and not the rest of the house. The house has a great lay-out but needs major TLC and Cool Cabins needs to up their customer service and actually take care of the customers.

Had a great weekend celebrating my daughter’s birthday just hanging around the cabin and playing various board and card games. The cabin has a beautiful view looking the mountains where one of the ski resorts is located! The cabin is always beautiful from the inside! The cabin basically included and kitchen supplies to be able to cook anything! I would definitely go back again whenever I have the chance!

The company responds fairly quickly. Anytime I had a question, they were very clear with their answer. I would definitely recommend and use Big Bear Cool Cabins again.

ALWAYS A GREAT STAY AT THIS CABIN.

Amazing experience. Checks off everything you would need in a snowed in cabin. Favorite parts of the house include the big hot tub, the pool table (could use better cues but still amazing), the fire place, and the two player game console that has all the classic games on it (pac man, frogger, battle star galactica). Rooms were perfect and beds were comfortable. All bathrooms are down stairs. Couches comfy, kitchen was big and included all appliances needed. There’s not much room for pantry items if you’re there for over 3 days and plan to cook a lot. Overall, 10/10 location. Close to the village and boulder bay, the prettiest spots in town! Would come again!!

We rented a cabin with a spa and the spa was slimy, very gross 🤮 I called and they said it would clear up in a couple hours. It was still gross 24 hours later

Searching for a cabin was very easy. The check in and the check out process was very easy as well. It was a great experience.

The cabin was clean, private, and looked just as the images showcased online. The location being per friendly was a bonus
