Excellent, quality service. Scan Cafe developed old family slides into beautiful digital images. I am so pleased with the results, so lovely to once again see these beautiful pictures from years ago.

I shipped almost 700 photo prints from the days before photography was digitized. These were from a number of vacation trips. I organized them in individual boxes, labeled with name of trip and date. Not all scanning services will keep your pictures organized in the same sets that you send them. ScanCafe did that for my first order (slides) and that is why I sent this second order to them--and my scans are in the same groupings...thank you! I had reviewed all my prints before shipping, but I appreciated being able to review and discard about 50 prints (some were duplicates) before finalizing my order. One of the photos scanned was of my husband, at a canal side restaurant in Venice, on our anniversary. That photo was brought back to life.

I was impressed with the ease of the service and the quality of the scans. The project was for work and involved slides, negatives, and pictures from a construction project the 1920's. Some of the negatives were mounted on 3"x4" glass plates as well as slide size glass plates. The enhancements really improved the scans and I didn't feel the need to use the additional restoration services. The ability to preview the scans before purchase was a great benefit. When I sent the negatives in for scanning it was difficult to sort them. There were several repeats and I could delete them from the order before paying.
